Sitting here,
All alone,
Feel the pressure,
In my bone,
Hating waiting,
Finding time,
Trying to make,
This poem rhyme,
Going to be here for nearly an hour,
Hoping my attitude doesn't turn sour,
Writing down thoughts in my head,
Fighting back the fear and dread,
Nothing to do but sit and wait,
Pray and hope my bus isn't late,
Got to get home,
Many things to do,
Taking care of the baby,
Housework too,
But for now I'm going to sit and write,
While looking at all the cars that drive by,
Noone I know,
Noone that cares,
Though they all watch,
As I dry my tears,
Scared to be out in the world on my own,
Even though I try and act all grown,
I do need you guys,
As much as I hate to admit it,
So don't go around,
Telling people I did it,
I love you guys,
You know its the truth,
And I hate being a disappointment to you two,
I'm sorry for the things that I've said and done,
I'll work harder I promise,
For y'all are the ones,
That me my life and helped me out,
I really do hate making you cry and shout,
I'm hoping you'll understand this heartfelt apology,
I'm gonna do everything I can to make you two proud of me.
