"Orange Pearl voice!"
With her new "black" pearl and hair she becomes the enemy by entrusting and loving Gaito- an evil man planning to capture all the mermaid princesses. She helps.
It was not always that way though. before she had beautiful orange hair and a bright orange pearl. That was when she was with Mitsuki- a man visiting the Indian ocean when they met.
"We split an ostier shell promising we will be with each other together forever"
When he left to Japan she was horrified. She ended up destroying her kingdom under the Indian ocean and creating a tidal wave that killed the male main character's parents who were on a cruise at the time. Her hair turned black and so did her pearl in her outrage.
"All I wanted was to become happy with Mitsuki... I never wanted to be born as a princess!!"
She threw everything away and turned to the evil she found in the deepest of the ocean. She served them and was a completely different person. No longer would she yell "Orange pearl voice!" But now it was "Black pearl voice." to summon her singing form. She begins to fall in love with Gaito and him with her. They believe one another will never betray or leave one another's side.
When Sara sees Gaito looking at a picture one of his servents handed him- a picture of Mitsuki- she gasps openly. When Gaito askes her if she knows the man in the picture she refuses. Gaito insists she is lying by the look on her face and she promptly tells him, "I told you. I've hated humans, always. They are nothing more then a target of my vengeance." She takes and rips the picture calmly in half while adding, "Humans betray and are ugly things." before walking off. When in her room she opens a dresser and takes out the half of the oyster shell she kept and whispers his name out.
During her dark pearl days she told herself and Gaito how she hates all humans. That she did not love Mitsuki.
One day, however, during Mitsuki's concert he hesitates before. He takes out his half of the oyster shell that was neatly wrapped in cloth and closes his eyes thinking "Sara, if you can hear this wherever you are- I am dedicating this performance to you."
There in the very back row sat Sara as a human with her black hair. She is glaring down at the platform where he plays the piano while thinking to herself how she will never forgive him for his betrayal. Then, as she hears the piano, she feels as if her hate is going away and is horrified and suprised. Then- Gaito's servant launches an attack!
A tidal wave is sent at the concert that is held inside at a dock overseeing the ocean. It is getting closer and the three main mermaid charecters (pink blue and green pearl mermaids) can not stop it! Sara, still inside listening, cries silently in the back with her shell clutched in the palm of her hand and she realizes that she loves him still. That is when she walks outside and faces the wave. She sings while still in her human form and a bright orange glow emits from her and destroys the wave.
Sara looks at the concert while in the waves and whispers his name to herself again before swimming off under water. Probably back to Gaito.
Much later Sara forces herself to hate Mitsuki again and trudges down a beach towered while carrying a key to Gaito's castle- she is going to find Mitsuki. Meanwhile, Gaito is frantic in his castle underwater. He yells "Sara!" Over and over while looking around. His servants ask him exacly who Sara is since they do not speak to her. He tells them that she has nothing to do with them and sits down while still looking anxious. He wonders in his mind what happened in the human world that she can not forget, he wonders what it is as well while firmly thinking to himself himself. "I can not loose you. Sara, I don't want you to be alone and lonely again."
Sara approaches Mitsuki as he plays the piano. "Mitsuki, do you still remember the days we were happy together?" She askes. "Of course I do Sara! I have been missing you the entire time." Mitsuki replies. She slams her hand on the piano and asked him if he knew it was him that destroyed their love. She told him she faced a broken heart and sadness and destroyed her own kingdom. She slapps him and Mitsuki notices her hair is not orange anymore. He realizes how it was her broken heart that did that. She hands him the key and says it will let him stay underwater and she says "I wonder if you will find me?" She leaves then and Mitsuki stares after her and whispers her name to himself. He quits his job and goes into the ocean with the other mermaids following him discreetly (Pink, green, blue, and purple). As they approach the castle they can hear Sara singing and the mermaids see Mitsuki go through the castle gates to Sara. Blue mermaid Hannon screams out to him but he dose not hear and he follows Sara.
Inside Sara listens outside a door where the hipnotized Mitsuki plays piano. She tells herself she is not suppost to be sad and that it is for vengence. The windows break behind her showing how her emotions are destructive (Like what happened to her kingdom)
Later, Sara goes to Gaito who is looking at the capsules with the mermaid princesses he has caught so far. He tells her he will soon have a gift for her and she is suprised and asks, "That fast?" The two walk away and when Gaito is alone two of his servants approach him. "Get ready for the castle to rise to the top of the ocean." He tells them and they ask why he wants to control the human world since it is sooooo discusting. He tells them that it is to keep someone that is important to him. "Sara?" one of the servants guesses and he slaps her so hard she falls to the ground. He tells them to do as he says as he leaves.
Even later then later while pink, purple, blue, and green are fighting the servants in the ocean dose the castle rise with a new person inside- the heroin main male character. Kaito (Sounds a lot like Gaito because they are twins) he is the one whose parent's were killed by Sara's rage. Inside the castle Gaito and Sara kindly speak to one another. "Sara, it is almost time to get the rest of the pearls to fill my loneliness." "I am here to fill it too- right Gaito?" "Yes, of course." Sara was about to interrupt him and he cut her off saying, "Stupid- I need the other pearls to take over the seas and land." "But you already are the king of this palace- so you do not need those pearls. Kaito may cause harm though- you should hurry up and get rid of him!"
The mermaids arrive and now all the mermaid princesses are in the castel. Noel and Coco (dark blue and yellow) are in capsules since they were captured before by gaito, Sara is there on Gaito's side, and now pink green blue and purple have arrived to get Mitsuki back and Noel and Coco. They do rescue Coco and Noel and Coco tells them the terrible news. she tells them about Sara. How everything was gone and that her pearl was gone too (It actually is still with Sara) and that Sara was being controlled by Gaito (Actually it is willingly). Coco cries showing how she must have been close to Sara. Then Sara appears. She walks up to the group and looks down at the kneeling and crying Coco who instantly brightens up. "Sara! We finally see each other again. How are you?" "I am fine." "Good... why is your hair black though?" "Coco... I will tell you now. He captured me- it was frightening. Then I fell in love with him. I joined him and my hair turned black. It was fine- I was fine with it so dont try to separate us! If you try you will pay for it!" "We can help!" Pink mermaid interrupts, "You just have to come with us!" "Is that true?" "Yes! We can help each other!" "I am not interested. Good-bye." Sara snaps and sends Pink mermaid into a trance where she is in an allusion. The allusion turns into her lover, Kaito, asking for her pearl to heal himself who has a wound on his side. The allusion is broken when the other mermaids join her and sing until they are free and are in the main room of the castle together (Excluding Sara, she of couse did not sing to help them but sent them there and is elsewhere) Gaito appears before them and tell them Kaito is his brother and they all regect the idea and run off. Then Sara appears again. "Sara! We will never forgive you for what you have done!" Pink yells and they all start to sing to hurt Sara. Sara listens with a smirk on her face. Nothing happens to effect her. She laughs, "Is that the best all of you can do? Your voices are nothing compared to mine, mermaid princesses. " She starts to sing and all the mermaids are effected and hurting under Sara's voice. They double over in pain. Suddenly- piano starts playing in the room next to them. Sara stops and runs to the room. She slams open the door and tells him to stop. The hypnotized Mitsuki continues and Sara slams her hand on they keyboard. He still plays so Sara decides to begin to sing to hurt him when blue mermaid runs in. Blue mermaid, Hannon, had fallen in love with Mitsuki and tells Sara to stop. Sara sings anyways- and Hannon claps her hands over her ears and is hurt by the sound. The blue mermaid stands her ground and looks unefected by the singing so Sara stops and looks confused. Then she remembered a sad and happy time she had with Mitsuki in the past and tears begin to fall from her face. She starts to sing sweetly this time and Mitsuki snaps out of his trance and grins up at her and starts playing the piano in key with her singing. When the song ends Mitsuki collapses (I wonder how that happened? He was not hit or anything and all the sudden he is on the floor in pain...? 0_o) and Sara grabs him in her arms and Mitsuki tells her he is alright now that she is there. He tells her that he remembers that time he walked away he say her crying. He says he always thought of her as a mermaid princess and Sara was moved. Her hair became orange again. "Gaito is doing this." She tells the princesses as the castle shakes. "Right now he is very dangerous- if you want to see him follow me."
When they find Gaito he is sitting in a chair with Kaito layed out in front of him. Sara tells him to stop but Gaito insists that he must have all the pearls and take over it all. He said that he will use all his power to destroy ALL the mermaids since he has failed at getting power from Kaito that he needs. Gaito laughs as he begins to use his power to make his whole castle shake and get ready to be destroyed with them still inside.
Kaito awakes and uses his own power to stop Gaito from destroying the rest of the castle temporarly. Sara is watching with the other mermaids and prays for Gaito to stop soon- to not hurt himself anymore. Gaito's servants appear and teleport away again while carrying Gaito. The servants in a different room then give their lives to Gaito- mostly in debt since he was the one that gave them lives but also because they look up to him. Gaito opens his eyes- fully fueled by the servant's dark powers. (Below is a picture of the four servants)
Gaito sits in the room and begins to use his power to destroy the castle again. Sara guides the mermaids to the room where Gaito is held to be blocked off by an enormous barrier of dark energy. The energy created by hatered. Sara decides to go in since only those liked by Gaito may enter.
"Sara? How dare you approach me with shamelessness?" Gaito asks as Sara approaches. "Everyone left me and betrayed me. And now you too." He says with sad eyes.
"I am not betraying you!" Sara insists. "It is because of me you have got revenge on Humans. Gaito- I want you to stop."
"Quiet!" Gaito yells at her and the dark power began to hurt Sara. "Don't BE like that Sara. This is your fate- for I am the king."
"You say you fight against them all because you are king? Gaito, please! You have the power to change this place and your life! The courage to shake hands with everyone because you are king!" Sara cries out as the aura around her hurts her.
"Sara... I thought you could understand my lonelyness." Gaito sighs.
"Gaito, if we do not forgive each other the battle will never end-"
"I can not believe anyone anymore!" He yells and the power makes Sara faint to the ground. He then begins to destroy everything again.
Sara opens her eyes and looks up thinking, "Poor Gaito. He is going to create and live in a kingdom so sad an lonely? If I was gone he would be lonely again- I can not do that. I am sorry. Forgive me."
All the mermaids outside the room begin to sing to try to help and Sara stands and sings too. Gaito is instantly hurt as soon as Sara starts to sing. Sara calls out to save Gaito's lonely heart. It flashes back to the time where Sara and Gaito met. He was sitting alone in his castle- the way he has since birth- when she finds the key and approaches him. How she releived him of his lonely state.
They decide to sing to save Gaito and the world and for the first time Sara transforms into her singing state. She and the others begin to sing and the aura around Gaito fades. "Laugh at me, Kaito. All my power is gone. And I lost my dream." He tells him as he kneels on the ground. Kaito insists Gaito come with them all back and out of the castle. Gaito is shocked- but then the castle begins to fall because his power that was keeping it afloat is gone it starts to sink. He decides to stay because he is the king and can not abandon his castle he smiles.
Everyone leaves as the castle is below water and start swimming for the surface. Sara stops and turns back. She leaves her pearl with the pink mermaid to keep until the new orange mermaid princess is born. She says goodbye to the fainted Mitsuki and heads back.
"There is somebody, right now, who cares about me more than anyone else. Somebody who looked at my hurting, wounded self with the same eyes that Mitsuki looked at me with... I can never leave him."
Her death:
Gaito sits on his throne as the ceiling slowly crumbles and he awaits his perish. In the distance he looks up because he hears Sara's song. Then Sara walks slowly in while singing with a smile.
"Sara? Why?" Gaito gasps in horror.
"Gaito, I am always with you!" She tells him with a smile and starts to sing again.
Gaito jumps up and walks up to her. They hug one another while smiling as they fall down down with the castle. Everyone watches as the structure becomes nothingness and Sara and Gaito die in one another's arms.
Bye-bye Sara! I ♥ you Sara~! And Gaito! I ♥ you Gaito~!
