So a few months ago Norris and I were invited to go for the day to a casino/mall/hotel/omfg this place is huge resort thingy. While our friends are en route to pick us up, it's our job to look up directions. Norris goes to the site, lo and behold, Tom Jones is going to be performing there in a month! He tells me, and my response is, "So how many tickets are you getting?"
We got 5. My BFF, sister-in-law from hell and my mom are invited to come with us. then we get this great idea to keep it a secret from mom (who's been having a terrible time lately) and we'll reveal our surprise that night. Norris waited until we were at dinner, and he slipped her ticket into her menu. It was so cute.
So anywho, It was ACTUALLY Tom Jones!!!! That's a big deal for me, 'cause my first boy/girl thing was over a Tom Jones song. I was quoted as saying, "Dude, that's totally Tom Jones!!!" Like I was expecting a rhinoceros to dance out on stage or something.
He shook and gyrated and sang. We laughed, we cried and there wasn't a dry pair of panties in the house. I created a new theory that any woman worth her salt as a member of that sex should have a favorite Tom Jones song.
My darling husband (whose favorite song is Delilah) has fulfilled a dream that I've had since forever. He enjoyed himself, but I think the true fun for Norris was watching me porn out over a really old man.I actually SAW Tom Jones in concert! He sang all my favorite songs (Never Gonna Fall In Love included), and he still sounds the same as he did in the days when my mom was my age porning out over him to her husband.
For everyone now reading this, I have to recommend the Youtube video titled "Tom Jones Dances Like Hell". You won't be sorry. Yeah, I know. He's far from hot "looking", but admit it, after hearing him sing.... you'd do him.
