For every person, the writing experience is unique to them only. Even with two people working on the same essay question, they will still end up producing different things. People think differently, so they write differently since writing is simply an expression of thought. I myself have had many experiences with writing, ranging fr[meh]

My best experiences in writing come from writing fiction. Koffi Agba, a student in Fairleigh Dickinson Univesity, sums up my reasons nicely, "Writing gives you a god-like power." This statement rings true when one writes fiction; the writer can breath life into a character or take it away, alter the landscape and change the weather, and even change the flow of time. The writing of fiction embodies all of these characteristics and acts a creative sponge, bringing about the imaginary into reality.

Out of all the aspects of fiction-writing, I enjoy creating and playing out the characters the most. I've played through many character types in order to get a feel for what a character could possibly be thinking in my fiction: tough guy, manipulative b*****d, religious fanatic, a lobotomized male, overly emotional mother, pervert, and a whole lot of others. My enjoyment for writing fiction increases from the interactions that these characters have with one another; no one can say for sure whether two people can get along when they first meet, circumstance being an important part of the writing process.
