This happened to cross my mind while reading Ouran High Host Club, thinking of Haruhi's (?) father, who is a cross dresser. Her father mentioned 'I'm not gay, I'm bi, but I promised I'd never love any other woman, but my wife...' (who died). So... I though about what levels people can be at of either gender....

Homophobic- afraid of anything gay

Disgruntled- not afraid, just not into it

Open- not gay, but not really against it, the thought has crossed your mind

On the fence- consider being with someone of the same gender, but still wanting to be with the opposite gender.

Bi- willing to be with men and women
(Tri)- well.... animals are an option...

Other side of the fence- consider being with opposite of the same gender, but still wanting to be with the same gender.

(other levels reversed)

Gay- wanting to be with those of the same gender

Straightophobic- those of the opposite gender are yicky xp
