~My Japan Trip~*SHING* :sparkle sparkle:
YAY!!! man this trip was the best trip EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR i wanna go back already!!!!!! crying gonk crying

My first impression was that Japan was so clean and quiet. i wish LA was like that, but its nowhere near clean, and far from queit stressed Japan was the best vacation i've ever been on, and i really hope i can go back soon heart

anywho, this is how it went...

Day 1
yea, went on plane, got on plane, stayed on plane for 10 hours, got off plane, waited for bus, went to hotel, found that we cant check in yet, went to eat dinner (which, i might add, was very good...SUSHI!) and went to bed at 7pm...or in my usual time, 3am. yep...thats it...

Day 2
Today was a bit better 3nodding I met my dads friend Professor Noguchi..a bit scary looking, but he had a good sense of humor..maybe too much. He was always laughing sweatdrop
So yea he told us how to get to Kyoto by train, and man this train was FAST!! eek i think 3x faster than cars go...very fast. i could barely see the polls pass by while we were on the train surprised it was very cool though.
When we got to Kyoto (after a 1hr train drive, or by car it would be a whooping 3 hours xO; ) we met my dads OTHER professor friend, which i forget his name xO;;;
Yea so he showed us around, took us to lunch, went to a weird museum that was actually an old fashioned house, and a really nice small shrine that was 300 years old. Not very old, but it was cool cuz' people were allowed to go inside and sit until the place closed 3nodding very nice. After that, he took us to the hotel and yea...
The hotel was awsome too, it was old fashioned, tatami matts and we got to sleep on futons xd heart dinner was traditional Japanese. oooh soooooooooooooooooo good =^=
then we slept...very comfy futons i might add wink

Day 3
finally the trip got more interesting heart
we went on a really good tour, i cant remember all the names of the places, but they were all great. first stop...i think was an old Shogun's home. It was awsome cuz' the floor was called a "nightengale floor" (spelling?). it was called that cuz' it made squeeking sounds like a nightengale when you walked on it, a built in alarm system exclaim surprised this is caused by the rubbing of 2 metals, a screw and a bar-type-thingy underneith the boards if i remember correctly sweatdrop

Next was lunch, we stayed at some arty place (yay!) bought stuff there, very good lunch also heart whee Man, Japan has such good food T^T

Also went to deer park and the Golden Pavillion. Both were AWSOME!!! the Golden Pavillion was a home completely covered in *GOLD* it looked so fake, since it looked so...gold..
Deer Park was cool too, there were tons of deer walking around that you could pet heart 3nodding They "protect and watch" the shrine near the park. Also, the tourist lady told us that if you feed them, they'll bow to you, because long long ago humans trained them to bow instead of shake hands. And what do ya know!? My dad saw a deer bow to someone after they fed him surprised eek exclaim
Very cool trip 3rd day...

Day 4
Well today was the last day in Kyoto. Bought awsome gifts wink and went back on the train to Tokyo to see Professor Noguchi and his family, Mrs. Noguchi(Kanako) and Anna 3nodding
I had kept contact with Anna before this trip, so we were kinda meeting eachother in real life for the first time biggrin
Both her parents have really good english, so speaking to them wasnt a problem. Anna's english is a big more broken and she has a pretty thick accent, but we still had fun anyways xp

After that, we went to the hotel to drop off our stuff and then went to the hot springs. i, luckily, decided not to go to the ones where you go *nekkid* and instead went to a public one with tons and tons of little "spas". One was one where they made an interpretation of the dead sea, and put lotsa salt in the water...man, it was so cool to float xd

The Hotel we stayed at was HUUUGE surprised eek overly expensive too xO;; but since the Noguchi family planned the trip for us, its not like we could say "ya know this place is too expensive so give us a less expensive hotel". *sigh* oh well rolleyes
Yep, my bugbites by that time were getting really bad(got em' the day before). 5 on my right leg and 3 on my left. killer, those bug bites x_x

Day 5
So today we went to see Mt.Fuji, which was, unfortunately, covered in fog so we couldnt see the top sad instead, we went to a shop nearby(very cute stuff there 4laugh ) and we played in the arcade. heart very fun. i actually won my very first claw game thingy there! (ya know, the ones with the claw and you try to get a prize inside...) also played this drum game, the traditional Japanese/Chinese drums. Theres a song that you have to play the beat to 3nodding that was such an awsome game xd . We also played air hocky (along with my dad who was playing against Professor Noguchi...hmph, my dad doesnt do that here stare ) Anna beat 12:6 gonk sweatdrop and last game, we played one of those "shoot all the bad guys that get in your way" games xd

Went to an art museum since the weather was bad, and looked around. They had like a hotwater thing for your feet, oooh that felt so good...especially for the bugbites i had wink surprised

Dinner was really formal today, i think there were like 13 seperate small dishes that came one at a time 3nodding very tasty, but a very long wait gonk

Day 6
Ate breakfast, and Anna and her dad went back first. they had stuff they had to do. Anna had a archery club thingy, and her dad had some work to finnish.
We left for the train about 1.5 hours after them, and went to the hotel, found that AGAIN we had to wait until we could check in. we went to a electronics store...and man...that was sosososososo AWSOME!! all of the mp3's, cameras, camcorders, labtops, EVERYTHING was so much more advanced than what we have in the US. In fact, the cell phone we rented was the oldest and cheapest they had, but it was already a camera phone and also recorded movies eek surprised eek I'm hoping to get a cool cell when i go to Taiwan, since the technology is similar between Japan and Taiwan 3nodding

We were supposed to go to a castle that day, but we cancelled it cuz' i was tired...but i really wanted to go crying

ate dinner at a Japanese styled Chinese food place 3nodding very very very very yummy 4laugh and then went to sleep...

Day 7
Went to Tokyo Disney today 3nodding i think we reached our goal of 10 rides that day 3nodding rofl
I finally got to go on splash mountain and space mountain biggrin every time i go to disneyland in LA, those 2 are always closed crying space mountain was by far the best ^-^

Bought Minnie clip-on ears...and thats about it. OH i also got a lunch thingy that came with a coolio micky lunch box wink

Day 8
Went anime shopping today!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY heart exclaim heart exclaim heart exclaim mrgreen heart mrgreen heart i had an awsome time. My fav. store (only went to 2 major ones...) was Animate heart heart heart 8 stories of anime-goodness 4laugh i didnt buy much, but they had tons and tons of stuff whee i'm hoping i can go to taiwan animate when i go to taiwan this winter 3nodding heart i can visit my family that i havnt seen in a long time biggrin

I really wish there'll be more Tsubasa merchandise 3nodding i need more tsubasa!!! I also need more Naruto!!!!! but overall the store was great heart

so yea, this trip was the greatest trip EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR i cant wait to go visit Japan again mrgreen
