My Random Vampire Thoughts
Here is a brief description. Random. Vampire. Thoughts. Get it? Got it? Good.
Probably wont read but, its my story
~Thursday 23~
Paki ran quickly through the forest, jumping over each branch, tree limb, vine, and other things that crossed his path. Looking behind him he snarled at the wolves chasing him with a lust to kill. Gripping his arm in pain he sped up faster, as the wolves began to close the gap he created before. Rushing past a large limb, it slapped against his arm, causing blood to pour out of the wound once more and making him howl in pain.

The wolves, smelling the blood, howled as well, but only in triumph since they realized he was beginning to weaken greatly. Paki rushed with a last bit of adrenaline, bursting out of the end of the forest and onto the cliff. "No!" he yelled out, skidding to a stop as he neared the edge of the cliff, causing rocks to fall into the watery depths 30 feet or so below him. The wolves, seeing their prey trapped, slowed their pace and covered the surroundings in a tight semi-circle around him near the edge.

Grimacing in pain, he turned around to face the oncoming end of his life. He counted the ones, noticing there were eight total and sensed the alpha to be the large black wolf walking up from the back of the hunting party to the front. "You gave us quite a run bloodsucker." The wolf rose up on his hind legs and morphed into it's human form, a full 6'8 feet in height. A red furred she-wolf with white furred paws, padded up to the man and nuzzled his leg. "Orcus...be careful. It may be injured and weakened but you know it can still fight." the she-wolf said whining slightly. "I know Lett...it will be okay though. The others would take care of him if he tries anything." Orcus smiled wolfishly and looked out at the other wolves in his hunting party.

They looked back with loyalty and respect, nodding to him. "If you don't mind me asking wolf...but could you please put some clothes on or something?" Paki said, looking at the naked man before him. Lett growled at Paki in anger. "Things do not speak unless spoken to." she said, baring her teeth. "Well I'm not an it or a thing. I am a person much like this man before me and I will show respect as well to those who I believe deserve it..so you can get the thought of disrespect from your mind now." Paki said, hissing slightly from the stab of pain in his arm.

"I will then..." Orcus said as he shook his head and concentrated, calling a black shirt on his body and a pair black, baggy pants. The shirt was tight across his chest, showing off each finely toned muscle. His hair was shoulder length and pitch black. His eyes a wild swirling silver with a shock of red across the irises. "Why don't you and your pack go back to your hole you live in and leave me the hell alone." Paki growled at Orcus, keeping a grip on the gash on his arm. "Sorry bloodsucker...but I can't do that. You came too close to my pack's den and therefore you must be killed." Orcus said easily, stepping towards Paki. Paki stepped back, his foot slightly going halfway over the edge of the cliff. "Stop wolf...I was only passing through. There is no need to kill me for something I came across accidentally." he said, trying to reason with Orcus.

"Do you not realize that it is a full moon, it's mating season, and there is a litter of pups about to be born into my pack?" Orcus said, narrowing his eyes and stepping forward again. "No. I didn't realize that. I know that there is a full moon tonight." He said, looking up at the moon and breathed in the cool night air, he turned his attention back to Orcus. Crouching low, he added, "I will fight my way out of this if I must. Now move or be killed dog." Paki's fangs extended from his mouth and his eyes turned a deeper red. Sensing the oncoming fight, Orcus bared his teeth and took on his wolf form once more.

"Fine then." he growled low, waiting for Paki to make his move. Each of the pack crouched low as well, ready to attack when the command was given. Turning his head to the pack, he howled. "This is my fight. Do not interfere." Orcus looked back at Paki. The pack bowed their heads and backed up, giving the two more room. Lett looked at Orcus with worry but bowed her head as well, backing away to let them have more room. "Don't you dare die Orcus! We have to get back. Don't forget, my sister is going to have pups and you are going to be a father!" Lett whined at him. "No worries...I won't." Orcus called out behind him to her. Then silence issued through the whole forest. Even the owls were quiet as the two circled slightly around each other. The wind began to blew, causing a shiver to run through the pack.

Clouds gathered in the air, covering the full moon. Blood red eyes and swirling silver eyes locked as the clouds shifted past the moon and allowed the light to shine through the night down upon the two. Paki twitched slightly from the pain shooting from the gash in his left arm. Noticing the twitch, Orcus leaped at Paki, opening his jaws wide, showing all fangs ready to bite into Paki's flesh. Taken slightly by surprise, Paki fell to the ground, grabbing onto Orcus's sides as they rolled around, trying to get a bite on the other. Snapping at Paki with his jaws, he realized the gash on Paki's arm was infected. Thinking quickly, he bit into Paki's left arm, right onto the gash, ripping it open even more. Screaming out in pain, Paki grabbed at Orcus's neck, trying to pull him off.

Hanging on, Orcus increased the pressure onto the gash with his fangs. Paki snarled and began to punch at the wolf's head, hoping it would take some effect. Throwing his head back in pain, hissing, Paki allowed his fangs to grow longer. Twisting his head, he bit into Orcus's front leg. Yelping, Orcus bit harder into Paki's arm. "Let go...NOW!" Paki growled through clenched teeth, biting harder as well into Orcus's leg. Behind them, the pack began to grow restless, watching as their pack leader was in pain.

Lett howled at the sight. Placing his back paws onto Paki's shins and front right paw onto Paki's right arm, Orcus shifted back to human form, conjuring just pants onto his body. Still keeping his fangs, he bit harder into Paki's arm, grabbing his right arm and forcing it above Paki's head, then allowing his weight to hold down both of Paki's legs with his own feet. "Never." Orcus moved his head sideways, ripping into the wound and tearing it more as blood began to pour even more out of the gash. Paki let go of Orcus's arm and screamed out in pain again. Taking his left hand, Orcus grabbed Paki by the throat and held him down, biting harder and slowly pulling the flesh from Paki's arm. Paki struggled with all his might realizing he was beginning to lose consciousness from the increasing pain.

"Let...go..." he whimpered still as darkness surrounded him. Looking over at the moon, he fought until he couldn't move his body anymore, allowing the darkness to wash over him. Orcus let go of Paki as he realized his prey had lost consciousness. Standing up, he wiped his mouth and spat onto the ground. "His blood is disgusting..he wouldn't be worth eating." Orcus laughed as he turned around. The pack ran forward in congratulations, yipping and yapping. Lett ran up to Orcus and nudged him in the leg. "Come on Orcus! It is time!" she yipped happily, speaking of her sister, Stjerne's litter.

Grimacing from the burning pain in his own arm, he turned around and grabbed Paki, tossing him over his shoulder. "We have to take this one with us. Also need to keep a watch over him." The pack turned back to the tree line and vanished within the thick, dark forest taking the vampire Paki along with them.

There are times
I've suffered shipwreck in my journeys:
In perils of robbers:
In perils of false brethren
In perils of my own design.
Yet,from these perils comes knowledge:
Only from within may we truly shine.
