I'm at camp right now. Well, it's not really camp, I'm staying at the Berkley campus. For people aspiring to be doctors.

So here's a summary of my past 4 days here.

Day 1: Arrived at Berkley. Met my rommie, Ann. She's Korean, and she's pretty chill. The camp has people from all over the US, so it's mostly crackers, lol. I'd say, 75 percent white. Most of the kids here go to private schools and have rich parents in the medical field. They make me feel like the ghetto chick from Stockton. Fortunately, most of them don't know how ghetto Stockton is. MCHS is almost as small as a private school, so they think I have a background as prodigious as they do.

Day 2: Went to a seminar on Hepititas B. Basically liver cancer. 1 in 10 Asians have it. 1 in every 100 Asian Americans have it. There's a vaccine to prevent it, but no cure for it. I'm kind of interested in it. It's sad that no one knows about a vaccine for a cancer, when the vaccine has been around since the 80s. That's probably why so many Asians get it. Other races have like a 1 in 1,000 chance of getting it. I guess, H-B is to Asians what AIDs is to black people.

Day 3: Went to a seminar on anatomy. Boring s**t. Then we went to UCSF. A medical school that only accepts graduate students, no undergrads. IT was cool. They talked to us about the field of prosthetic limbs, pharmacy, and nursing. All interesting fields.

Day 4: Watched a doctor do knee surgery. Pretty gorey, it was a live broadcast from some hospital in Columbia. Pretty interesting.

We also had medical groups. Before and after seminars we had Medical groups. Like, doctor class. Se did problem learning. We were given fake medical scenerios and had to figure out what the patient had. We halso played some lulzy games.
