Grammar Nazi's
Today isn't a very good day for me, not by a long shot. I am sick and tired of people getting so nit picky on threads. Yes I know grammar is important but is it that important when your just having a friendly chat with another gaiain? Sure I can see you being picky about it in rp's but not when your just talking to someone. Yes, chat speak can be very annoying but its mostly used for speed, not for how it looks.
When threads become victem of what I like to call, " The imfamous grammar nazi", it ruins it for the people, like myself. When a grammar nazi takes residance in a thread, it makes others fearful to post becuase they dont want to get gray/black listed just becuase the other is a**l. It is upsetting to watch a once happy and viberate thread being snuffed out by anothers pickiness.
I know grammar is very important, I like a good literate rp like the rest of them, but there are ways of over doing it. We're not here to write a novel people, Rp's are meant to have fun! I think as long as its coherent and fluent, theres no harm in missing a few commas.
For writing this I am not narrowing it down to one person, casue I've seen this everywhere. BUt if anyone if offended by what I'm saying then thats simply to bad. Don't read it then, I never forced you to read it nor did I want you to. I'm just voicing my opinion, and if you dont like it then xp
