Wtf mate?
Time felt like it was being stretched, because Calculus was beyond boring. He was able to accomplish so much in so little time: he took a nap, sent a few notes to James (including a few rounds of tic-tac-toe), doodled a bit on his paper, made some oragami with his notes, and wobbled his pencil to make it look wiggly.

After Saito had a nap, he woke up realizing it was only 15 minutes into the class, and he already had to dreams: exploding the whole school with a bunch of shaken soda cans, and winning a lifetime supply of ramen. When Saito woke up, his stomach growled loudly, and he groaned in agony and hunger. Seeing as there was no food near him, he chose to tell James about his stomach's pain because his hunger was just as important as Derivatives (which he was supposed to be taking notes on).

He wrote on the back of his own school notes (which was practically empty), 'I'm hungry.' He passed it on to James, and their note conversation ended up like this:

Saito: I'm hungry...

James: What do you want me to do about it?

Saito: I dunno. Something!!

James: Like what?!

Saito: That girl next to ou has a packed lunch. go get it!

James: That's stealing, Saito. It's illegal.

Saito: So you're just going to watch me wither and die away...?!

James: ...Yes.

Saito: Thanks.

James: Anytime.

Saito: ...So watcha doin?

James: I'm busy writing notes about Integration.

Saito: Well that's a first...

James: YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING IT TOO!

Saito: You're no fun.

James: Whatever...

Saito: I know! Let's pass the time by playing tic-tac-toe! Best seven out of twelve!

James: No, I told you, you're supposed to be writing notes on Integration, we have five page in our textbooks to complete about it,and I don't wanna be behind because Fine.

After endless moments where Saito had defeated James in tic-tac-toe (James wasn't as concentrated on the game as Saito was), Saito realized it was pointless playing with James, because it was like playing with a frog only interested in catching the fly in front of him. For James, he was the frog, and that fly in front of him was the Integration notes. So Saito decided to make use of the notes and turned it over to start drawing. He drew a picture of a frog sitting on a desk, wearing school clothes and with blonde hair, and ogling at the teacher, which a giant fly. He laughed at his own masterpiece, then showed it to James, who stared at it in confusion.

Seeing as there was no use of his "class notes" (one part of the page took up his conversation with James while the other had his frog masterpiece and his tic-tac-toe matches), he decided to make a paper plane out of it, and when he threw it across the class while the teacher turned his back to write more notes on the chalkboard, it flew right out of the window, to Saito's utter disappointment. Now anyone could read his notes of his hunger... He sighed, not knowing what to do next, and picked up his pencil and wobbled it around, to make it look wiggly. He did this for five whole minutes non-stop, and it had even gotten the attention of a few students siting nearby. They watched the magical pencil in awe, until the bell had FINALLY rang.

"YES!" Saito hollered, getting a some odd looks from most of the class and the teacher.

"Uh, just really glad to know more about those Integrations!" he said happily, and rushed to the cafe`, with James attempting to catch up to him.

But Saito's hunger had blinded him from what was awaiting him in the cafe`: his first detention punishment.
