Well, the day started out okay, but things just keep getting worse. Things were good when I called Abbey and we talked about all the stuff I've been talking about. Abbey and I have a great relationship. We share basically all of the same morals and opinions so she's very easy for me to talk to. We also have a lot of the same methods of dealing with things so I know she understands when we talk about our problems. I felt good after I talked to her. Unfortunately, when I called Meredith to mediate about the stuff between her and Abbey (which didn't go badly, but which also didn't go well) Meredith had a small breakdown; and for good reason. See, Meredith's mom met Meredith at Target so that they could shop for dormitory decorations. The two of them got into a fight over a carpet (Meredith's mom was throwing a fit because the shade of blue in the carpet didn't match the bedspread). At that point Meredith's mom starts yelling at Meredith full-volume in the store and then declares that she's going to divorce Meredith's dad. After that, she stormed out of the store. The focal point of all this is that Meredith's parents are getting a divorce. I can't even imagine what Meredith is going through right now.
