Because we love you 50% more than we did last month.

So yeah, I went on the 15th to go and see my honey of almost two years...
We did what people normally do with their friends- watch movies, play games, catch wild animals, have gratuitous sex... waitwhat? [/kidding]

We really didn't do much, but we had each other finally, so I didn't mind.
Neither of us could ever remember being so happy. heart

We took a few pictures, so I'll post my favorites:

It felt like I was there forever, but on the last full day, we wondered where all the time had gone.

I fought so hard to hold back tears on the 29th, and it worked until bed.
On the 30th, everything shattered, and I had to say goodbye.

I bid farewell to around 20 snails, half by name; one frog, one ghost shrimp, one pleco, four hatchet fish, one glass fish [there were also two tetras, but they're tetras...].

I then said my goodbyes to the carnivorous landsnails we found...
I know, you've never heard of such a thing, right? Beaded Lancetooth snail

Then I held and cuddled the two garter snakes we found, who I had named Slinkey and Spoopdee. They were wonderful little snakes... no longer than a pencil, and maybe half as thick. Little sweethearts, they were..I love them. <3

Then, we had to take the last walk upstairs, and eventually out the door to wait at a bus stop to take me to the bus station.

We got to the greyhound station way early, but it was fine...at least we weren't rushing around at the end.
It was so hard trying not to cry, it was really awful.

Once I got on the bus, I settled in and looked out the window and saw him there crying and waving. All I could do was put my hand up to the glass as we started out...which is exactly what I did when I saw him waiting for me when I arrived.
It's strange how things come "full-circle" like that.

I pulled out my blanket and sobbed forever until my head hurt and I felt dizzy...the blanket still smelled like his room, so that didn't help much... neither did my mp3 player deciding to use Say Anything against me as I was crying into a blanket on a bus full of people.

By the time I got back to Portland, I was half dead. All I could think about was getting back to Rambee's house and passing out for awhile, and I did just that.

I miss him so much...but I know it's worse for him. The only other person around for him is an unreliable, occasionally abusive parent.

Bah.

Two more weeks, and I'll be going home, and this little dream of a vacation will end.
I don't think I'll be looking forward to the flight after last time, but I do hope it goes better.
