If I remember correctly I wrote this poem while I was pursuing a certain girl, haha. And what's awesome is it worked.
~Milky Way Endeavor~
She's a dream,I see her when I sleep among the stars sometimes
It strikes me how she even affects my profound rhymes
How'd I go from giving up finding that girl
To writing how her presence has me in a milky way swirl
It's cold as the ninth rock where the light dies
To keep warm I imagine those fiery eyes
As if she was in a mad race with the sun
Her eyes transcend any star to win the grand prix two-one
She's got me wrapped around her little finger and I willingly cling
Maybe I'll get a trace of her greatness like saturn's ring
She's the center of my galaxy and I'm in an eternal orbit trance
Circling to get enough of her,a worthy reason to bravely advance
In my eyes she's simply out of this world, and farther
If I could be her match made in the heavens I'd willingly trade my stars and garters
So now I'm wishing on a constellation that's painfully far
To make one of their cosmic peers my very own star.
