[[The start off. KyriA and Miranda are great friends of mine. KyriA was dressed as Malon and Miranda was dressed as Rikku]]
First, I just want to say, that these where seriously three of the best days of my life, and I had a blast being there. None the less, I wish it didn't have to end.
First we ended up waiting in line for two hours, which was fun because we got to see alot of cosplays, it was just boring and made your feet hurt. Finally we got our passes though and we just started to take pictures left and right, we even found my friend Ariel from Gaia. It was amazing.
Some of the favorite cosplays friday where deffentally this chick dressed up at Suicune. OMG! She was amazing. It made me smile because this girl was lugging around there legs for the fur suit. Then we had just sooo many to choose from.
I kept getting asked for pictures and hugs. EVERYONE LOVES KURAMA
Anywho. We walked around, baught alot of stuff, and just chilled out. I even have so many funny stories. Like, at the end, we where sitting and admiring cosplays. KyriA found this girl to play pokemon with, I was looking through my manga, and everyone else was just relaxing, and this Captain Falcon walks by. This girl who was playing pokemon with KyriA [Who we called Riku because she cosplayed Riku from KH] Yells out to Captain Falcon, and him, being epic awesome, Goes "SHOW YOUR MOVES" and does the pose, and we all just BURST OUT SCREAMING! <3 It was epic, I know.
Then, on Saturday, we didn't have to wait in any lines, which was amazing, after all. We walked in and looked for my friend Dirick, and it was amazing to see him so tall. I was happy. Anywho. I left after a little while and we walked around move. [FYI, If you ever want to find a YYH plushie in the dealers room, you won't find one. TRUST ME]. Anywho, I saw a ton of great YYH cosplayers, and I got all of their pictures with Courtney/Miranda/KyriA's camera. Well, not much went on during Saturday morning, [Except for this awesome duel between Duke Devilen and Seto Kiba that we got on Film. [[DUKE WON]]. Till we got to the Artists ally after having Ariel tell me she found a Yusuke and I bolted. [I'm going to type out the story later in this blog]. Well, it ended up that we found a very pretty Kurama and a very cute Hiei as well, and we made a little group. It was me, Yusuke, Miranda, KyriA, Ariel, Ariel's sister, and Kurama and Hiei. We hung out for like.. and hour and what not and just started talking and what not [We ended up writing on Ketchup packets and asking people to pass them on xD] And yeah. Kurama and Hiei asked us to go to dinner with them, and none of us had alot of money, but we did it anyways and went to a sushi resturant. Yusuke couldn't come. She had to meet up with someone. [And, omg, the Yusuke was SOOOOOO cute. I really really liked her. Maybe a small crush? >//////<] But we got to the sushi place and sat down. I felt so awkward and I was shaking lightly because the other Kurama was SO pretty. I was nervous that something bad would happen and I would look like a complete fool. But it was SO fun. We had Hiei and Kurama feeding eachother and we got that on flim. And I just have a whole bunch of pictures of the group. Hiei didn't like what Kurama ordered. She ordered these little baby octopus and she flipped <3. [Hiei was just a tad bit out of character, but it made me smile. She was adorible, and cute, and hyper]. But after that, we went back to the con and hung out a little more, we also found a TK that Hiei adored and it was amazing. I got some pictures with them all, and all I know is that I asked Kurama [Her real name was Jess, BTW] if I could take a picture of just me and her, and I remember my voice cracking a bit. She said sure and Ariel goes "Self love? That would be masturbation!" And Hiei [Nicole] just blinked and was like," I don't mind that. You all have to stay like that FOREVER" and everyone just laughed and we got our pictures. We had to go after that basically, because of the fact that we had to catch the train back to the hotel, and we just basically went to bed from there. The day was amazing and my favorite. I really adored all the YYH cosplay we found. Exspecially the Kurama and Hiei and Yusuke. They where all so pretty and cute <3
Sunday rolled around and we got up and headed to the airport to catch the train again. We met some really cool people on there and talked to them most of the time. Then, we got to the con and walked around and took pictures of cosplay for a while, but then, the most amazing thing happened. These people stood in a hug line, so I hugged them all and joined the group, even got MIranda too, and OMG Guys, so many people hugged us, and the line got so huge. I was standing in that line for a good two hours. Hugging people that went down the line. A whole bunch of people noticed my cosplay and where like "KURAMA!!!" and yeah. It was epic. Alot of people where like "GROUP HUG!!!" and we all would run up and hug the person.It was so fun. After the line broke up [It was a good 25-30 people strong] they started to play duck duck goose [I waisted all my energy tackling a friend of mine I met there who was dressed as Hiei [[Not the one with Kurama]]] And passed out on the floor. It was basically over after that, and man, I wouldn't have traded it for the world. It was epic.
TALES OF THE YUSUKES:
I found three Yusukes at the convention, and I have a story about how I met them all, all funny.
Well, the first one I met on Friday... in the girls bathroom. [every YYH cosplayer but two where female xD] Well, I was washing my hands, and this girl comes up to me. Shes like "Kurama?" And I was like, "Yeah" And she was like "Its me! Yusuke!" And I hugged her and we talked about how there was a lack of YYH cosplayers. Well, We then noticed it was awkward in the bathroom, so we went outside and took pictures, {She was pretty >//////<] And what not and I never saw her again.
Then, On Saturday, I am in the front of the dealers room, sitting down and resting, and then Ariel calls me, saying she found a Yusuke. I picked up my stuff and BOLTED. Leaving KyriA behind. I had to go all the way through the dealers room and head to the dealers room. literally, its a long run. Well, I go in, and Ariel pointed to the Yusuke, I go up to her, and go "OMG! Yusuke! I honestly been trying to find one all day" and I told her the story how my friends found her and I bolted to get to hug her and get her picture. =3 She made me smile, and she said she felt special. I have a pic hugging her. >w<
Then, last Yusuke. Ok. We where going out to eat with Kurama and Hiei, so we walked out of the building, and I stop, because I saw someone walk by out of the corner of my eye. Well, I told everyone to stop and pointed," Yellow ripped up shirt. Green Wrist bands... and jeans... THAT WAS A YUSUKE!!!" And Hiei, BOLTS down the sidewalk and jumps inside. =3 We got his picture [Only male Yusuke, which, of course, I hugged like the rest].
Now that was my trip to Otakon, and seriously, it was amazing. I loved it so much and got to hang with my friends and meet so many new people. <3333 Wouldn't trade it for the world.
