Chapter 2
My Rebellion started out simple enough, kill an angel or two and leave their heads in God's thrown. I was found innocent. I despised that! They only let me off because I'm one of God's chosen. So I did a few more disgusting acts and got my self caught then let off. So I went big, a love life. Surely this must show you what kind of state Heaven is in when a love life would get me in more trouble then killing another angel.

Now, as I said, angel's aren't allowed to love and if an angel is seen with a partner their wings are cut off. Now of course this wasn't a real lover. I just had to find a pretty angel and get her to fall in love with me. I was cocky so I believed it wasn't that hard but oh how I was wrong......

I walked down the streets of a higher level of heaven and their were many pretty, capable, angelic girls. I walked up to a gorgeous blonde, blue eyed, picture of perfection and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around and blushed. I took her hand and kissed it, winking at her as I did this and smiled a devilish smile. She only blushed more. I stood stright again and laughed. "May I know the name of this sweet and beautiful dove?"

She looked me up and down and smiled. "Only if I may know the name of this charming and cunning raven." She put her hands behind her back and leaned over giving me a nice view of her voluptous chest. I smirked, she was perfect. Just because this wouldn't be a real relationship, dosen't mean I couldn't have a little fun as she fufilled my rebellion needs and well, other "needs" as well.

I bowed to her in a mocking way and gave her another devilish smile. "Lucifel at your service my dove." I kissed her hand again and leaned up. She imediatly snatched it away.

"Lucifel huh? I will have nothing to do with you! You are a disgraceful example of an angel and I am appalled to have let you touch me!" she humphed and left with her prissy little nose in the air and her rather flat behind moving from side to side.

I tried many times with, I believe was, every girl on this level of heaven, and they all ended in the same way. A few ended in a smack or a kick to the groin. I was sore and defeated by sunset and so I planted myself on a bench in a park and massaged my screaming calves from being on my feet all day even after so many kicks and hits I got. This wasn't going to work. I layed down on the bench and rested for a while when I felt something nudge my head.

I opened one eye and found that a small feminine looking young man was standing above me. He looked scared, tear-stained and ragged. He was a twig and as pale as a ghost. He had long, midnight-colored, untidy, hair, that stood out at jagged edges at the nape of his neck and cat- like blood red eyes. He looked like the saddest thing I had ever seen.

When he finally spoke I jumped in surprise, his voice was beautiful, soft and scared yet if he wanted to, could scare off anyone with it. "I....I'm sorry sir but this is where I sleep. Do you mind?" He looked pitiful, homeless and hungry, even my black heart began to soften at the sight of him.

I got up quickly, flustered at staring at him for so long. "Oh I'm sorry go ahead." He only gave a little nod and sat down on the bench with a peice of bread the size of my thumb and began to nibble on it. It made my cold, hard heart break to see this pitiful boy. I gave a small smile and held out my hand to him. "Would you like to come home with me?" I must have looked like a wreck with bruises all over my face and a limp in my step.

The boy looked up at me through wide ruby orbs. He shook his head quickly as if to get a bug out of his hair. "No no no, I couldn',t I'd be burden." He looked terrified.

I sighed. "This is going to be harder then I thought." I sat down next to him and looked at him sternly. "Look kid you need food, medical attention, and somewhere better to sleep." I patted his head. "I'm sorry to say this but you look pitiful sitting here with a peice of bread and a rag for clothes."

He only looked down. "I'm an eye child no one should pity me." He looked away and I could see him shake. "I'd only get you in trouble if you helped me." his voice cracked. Was he crying? I sighed and scooped him up in my arms like a new bride. He squeaked and clung to me. "Wh...what are you doing?"

I smiled down at him. "I'm taking you to my place to get you some food and sleep, got that? And there's nothing you can do to stop me." I looked up and walked on and he didn't say a word the rest of the way there. He only clutched my shirt and buried his face in my chest. He had fallen asleep half way there, so when I glanced down, I could see only half of his tearstained face from his little burrow in my jacket. I only smiled at him and thought: 'He's so adorable. Who ever threw him out onto the streets is a cruel and heartless angel (even more than myslef) and should be killed on the spot.'

But, to let anyone know that in thought in such a way sometimes, would ruin the image I needed to gain my banishment. Keeping him would have to remain a secret as I continued to look for women. I didn't need the ladies thinking I was soft-hearted, they would begin to expect something from me. Like commitment. As if I would actually offer such a disgusting thing. But here I am, babbling. This has no relevance to the story. Or, at least, I didin't think it did at first.

End of chapter 2/ "If thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cast them off from thee. It is better to enter into eternal life halt or maimed than to be cast off into Hell fire. If thy eye offend thee, cast it off from thee. It is better to enter eternal life half-blind than to be cast into Hell fire." ------From the Bible.

Lucifer: "Hmmmm..............Well, let's see it as this: 'If thy heart offend thee, rip it out of thee. It is better to enter eternal life knowing no love or emotion and to be a mindless, thoughtless zombie than to be cast into Hell fire.' "

"Hmmm.....is it really?"

Let's just continue
