Alright, so I was on neo because none of you guys were online, or at least none of you were online on Kunoichis. And I saw a one-on-one Doctor Who role play. I should have just ignored it, but you know how I am.

I replied that I might role play with her, she needed the Doctor and I've never role played him, so I figured it'd be good experience. D= I should have read her character sheet first. I'm such an idiot. crying I thought she'd have a more normal companion character, like my Tasha-chan, or perhaps an usual but still abiding to the unwritten rules((as far as I know they're unwritten, but perhaps the writers wrote them down)) of companions.

Instead I find that her character is an alien with abilities AND she's on the run from a huge organization AND she's planning on having her character save the Doctor AND she wants her character and the Doctor to get together. sweatdrop Having one of those is okay, in some circumstances, but having all of those at once is a big role play no-no!

First off she's trying to steal the Doctor's position as main character, which should never be done. The Doctor isn't the companion, you are. Second off, at the time and place in which she set the plot((after the season finale of the fourth season)) the Doctor probably has NO INTENTION to fall in love with anyone((I told her this much, and she insisted)). Third off, her plot is much more like fantasy/romance type thing than a good old sci-fi plot. DX And from the way she's phrasing things, I'm wondering if her character might be somehow related to the Time-Lords! GAH!

I wish to impart this knowledge into her poor, unfortunate mind... however, I don't want to be rude and simply reject her. Everyone has made very bad and unwritten rule breaking characters at least once in their life time, and the mistake should be corrected gently, not harshly. Otherwise it might put the person off role playing forever.

Any suggestions?
