Dagger of Defeat

Pain flows through my veins,
My blood feels hot,
As I cry tears,
Each one falls onto the ground,

What's this feeling?
Of desparation,
Anguish and suffering,

Take the dagger,
To my heart,
You know you can do it love,

Go ahead,
My heart needs no more pain,
If you do this to me,
It will set me free,

Take the dagger,
To my heart,
I'm confused,
As I fall to my knees,

You stand before me,
Holding that dagger in your hands,
I look at you,
As we stand out in the cold rain,

I can feel it,
Your dark heart,
It knows what you must do,

You get closer to me,
And get down on your knees,
Your eyes look into mine,

Take the dagger,
And put it threw my heart,
I feel it now,

Pain is leaving this body,
Blood scatters,
Tears fall,
They are not my own,
They are yours,

As my world goes dark,
The last thing I see,
Is you looking at me,

A smile,
A sad smile,
That makes me know,
That the dagger,
Is threw my heart.
