the girl slipped into the truck and closed the door as noislessly as possible. she noticed that her moms knuckles were white against the stearing wheel. this ment there had been another fight. a small sigh escaped her.
"What was that?" her mother questioned. still staring at the road.
"Nothing." the girl mummbled in response.
"did you have fun?" her mom began.
"Sure. up until the point you left me there for half an hour after i called." her mother relaxed her grip on the stearing wheel and sighed.
"Sorry." she mummbled.
"No problem" the girl responded.
