Here I am, Writing Poetry, though it shall be terrible, if you wish to read it, be my guest.
The Last Step
There we are, alone together, Smiles curl our lips, Laughter shakes out chests, and Butterflies fill the air,
'Tis spring, the time of rebirth, For all life to begin anew, Blossoms fill the trees, and their petals tickle our bosoms,
All is good, then I see him, And the scene changes, the sky is ablaze with my hate. And all you do is smile.
He takes her away, picks her up in his arms she smiles, and all she sees is spring, in his eyes,
I've no power, so I turn to leave, I step forward, knowing your happy, I don't look back, I wouldn't last, and so I take my steps quickly.
I walk along, lost in thought, then I finally turn, and see headlights to take me away from pain, I take a second to reconsider, then step onto the asphalt.
