I have been learning more about meditation as a relaxation technique. I have my little area in my room, so that when I get home from work or school, that I have some time to just relax. This way I can get everything else done in a peaceful manner with out feeling stressed or overwhelmed. It has also helped me on my patients as well. My lap top took longer to make and ship due to wheather problems, but I am perfectly fine with it.
Meditation is perfect for " for finding your center", espically in today's hectic world. With everyone wanting more things done in less time, it is easy to get stressed out, which also increases your chances of getting sick. So just take a couple of minutes, or hours if you prefer, out of you day and just take a breather. Do nothing, listen to relaxing music, or which ever works for you. Just make the time to take a break and allow your brain to catch up with everything else.
Thank you for listening to me rant, but this is something I have found that helps termendously, and it also helps people like me that gets a "little" upset when they are stressed.
