Luna yawned. The light filtered in through the window in the Ravenclaw Girl's Dormitory.
She got up, but to her worry, she couldn't find her necklace. Sighing, Luna put on her golden beetle pin.
-----A Couple Hours Later...-----
Luna skipped down the hallway, humming to herself. She planned to get to the Room of Requirement early, so she could practice.
She took her stance and said,"Expecto Patronum!" Luna kept her thoughts on her first day at Hogwarts. Her concentration dissolved when she felt something warm and furry rubbing against her leg.
As her hare patronus dissolved, Luna looked down and saw Hermione Granger's cat, Crookshanks, sitting at her foot. As Luna bent down to pet him, she saw something tan sticking out of his mouth. She gave a pull, and Crookshanks opened his mouth.
Grimacing slightly she realized it was her missing necklace.
