In an attempt to expand and grow and of course improve my writing skills I'm going to try and begin a journal. I've never journaled before except when it was required in school and I'm not the type to blab on and on about feelings especially sadness, doom and gloom and all that.

I really can't stand people who can't "look on the bright side". I had a friend for a very short time once, who was always just droning on and on about the troubles of her life. Blechk! Even when I'm at my bluest, I never crawl inside a cocoon of self pity. What a waste!

Now I'm not totally heartless and I understand being overwhelmed and such but really I see no need in acting like it. Don't you want to just smack the blue right out of some people? I mean really, pick up your feet, stop shuffling around like someone kicked your puppies!
