Zanda



In a town named Zanda there is a boy named Roy. His age is sixteen with

green eyes and black hair medium. He is the town warrior. He had one

brother and their parents died when Roy was thirteen by the disease

Ergotism. After that day, things where fine until Three years later. It was

around three or four o’clock he decides to go for a walk. He went a little

longer then he had planned. So he started walking back. He saw some

smoke so he started to run as fast as he could. He starts hearing screams he

is completely out of breath, but he continues to run.

He gets back and sees this huge fire. “CHAD WHERE ARE YOU” there is no reply. He bumps into a kid about five foot six and has silver hair and blue eyes. ”Ouch watch where your going” said the silver haired kid. Roy replies “sorry about that so what is your name” the silver haired kid said” it’s Jason”. Roy said “well I’m Roy it is nice meet to you” Jason asks “what happened to the village” asked Jason, Roy explained. A tear rolls down Jason’s face. “Where did they go” said Jason. Jason replies” I guess that means that you’re with me.” “Guess so” says Jason. They do a search over the town. A young burnt kid holds up its hand. Hey!!! “Roy come check this kid out.” said Jason Roy walks over CHAD!!! You’re alive! I thought you were dead. I am so glad that you are alive. Jason said so this is your bro. Chad has brown hair and hazel eyes. Roy picks up his little brother. Everyone starts walking to the next town Mandela. So they can find a medic or alchemist for his little brother. They found an alchemist Roy gave him some money for a healing potion. Chad drank the three ounce tiny tube full of red potion. “OH MY GOD that is disgusting “Chad said disgusted.” well it’s not supposed to taste good it is medicine. Well guys I guess were staying here tonight.” Chad could not sleep so he went out for a little walk. He sees this house with a light on and a girl walked out and she had blue eyes and brown hair, and she was about 12. So Chad walked over and said hi! The brown haired girl said “hey my name is Shaunna,” what is your name? Chad said “my name is Chad nice to meet you.” Well they start talking and he asks how old she is, she says 12 and Chad said me too. She asks “why he is here” and he replies “I got hurt in a fire and, Jason went gathering food for his family and my brother went for a walk.” So my brother his friend and I were walking and we ended up in this town. Do you want to stay at my house until tomorrow? “Well sure, I would love it” said Chad. “So she says we should go to bed now because I am very tired.” Chad replied “I am tired myself so I guess I will see you in the morning.” So bright and early in the morning Chad puts on his clothes and he wakes up Shaunna. Then he goes outside so that Shaunna could get dressed. Well then he sees his brother running around saying “CHAD” and then he sees his little brother at Shaunna’s door step. “I have been looking for you all morning” said Roy. “Well sorry” replied Chad “I couldn’t sleep so I went for a walk and met Shaunna and she asked me to stay over so I did.”

“Well we need to get going now” Roy replies “but wait” he stood there and thought for a moment “what about Shaunna” said Chad. I don’t know said Roy, then Shaunna stepped in and said “wait a minute I want to go with you.” Chad says “you can’t,” she says “why,” “because I don’t want you to get hurt.” Chad says sympathetically, She replies, “but I won’t hold on” so she runs inside and puts on her favorite outfit which is a green short skirt and a white button up shirt and she left the top of her shirt unbuttoned. Shaunna says “well what are we waiting on lets go.” Roy replies we need to go to the weaponry store. Roy said give me all your gold, silver, and copper. So we have 1231 in gold, 492 in silver, and 49 in copper.

So they all get there and the guy working says “how may I help you,” Roy replies “yes you can you can show us the weapons you have.” Well they start looking around and everyone picks up a weapon that they liked and Shaunna picked up two daggers and put them on the belt it came with. Then Roy puts a two handed sword on his back. Chad picked up a spell book that was black as well as a staff made of smooth black oak wood with a ruby in the top of his staff. Jason picks up a two sided axe and all he has to hold it with two hands. Roy said “come on it is time to pick out armor.” Chad replied “well I don’t need armor but let’s go.”

Roy put on half red body armor that covered his chest. Jason put on all body armor while Shaunna put on none. As the merchant said it is all 1100 gold, 39 silver and 5 copper. Roy gives him the money. “Well, I guess we’re on our way” said Chad. They all run toward the gate and there appeared a pack of wolves. The pack leader growls as one of the pages light up in that spell book which opens itself but all the other pages were blank so it’s like they reveal themselves. Chad reads the page as fast as he can Chad sticks his staff in the air and says “fire.” Fireballs start to shot at the wolf but their ok. Jason charges at the pack and kills two and Shaunna says “my turn” she takes out her daggers with the blades to the outside of her. She runs up slashes once across the wolf’s face, while Roy takes his sword and chops one in half and helps Shaunna kill another one.

The leader is the only wolf left and they all take one more strike at it and it lies dead at the gate. They group got meat and a little bit of gold. Roy complimented everyone “saying that was weirdly fun.” Chad replies “that was awesome I think this is the beginning of a great friendship.” They all knotted in approval, they all walked through the gate and went out into the forest and found a small river. They ran to it, Shaunna got on her hands and knees and drank some of the river water. Chad pushed her in and then he jumped in himself. Everyone started laughing, Jason took off all his armor and he jumped in the water as well. A huge splash hit Roy. Well Roy said I’m wet now so he took of all his armor and dove in. They all got out and built a big fire. They all sit around the fire as they talked till Roy and Jason fell asleep.

Chad said Shaunna, he replied yeah? “Do you want to go look at the stars every thing may be different but the stars are still the same.” There is a flat rock we could lay on so we don’t get wet again.” They went over and laid on the flat rock and they put there feet in the water. “I’ll get some light for us,” he got some wood and caught it on fire. They fell asleep write there. Roy was the first one to get up. He saw them lying there, and tried to wake up everyone by yelling” wake up.” Everybody threw a pawl of water on Jason to wake him up. Everyone started laughing about it. Jason said you guys are jerks and he started laughing himself. Everyone gets up and puts on the armor and weapons
Jason didn’t put on his helmet, they all start walking through the woods. Suddenly they hear “HELP” a couple times. They all start running toward the yelling, its man in front of a dark cave. Everyone says “what is wrong” the old man replies “my son is lost in that cave we were goofing off and I lost him and ran out and started yelling help. Can you go find him for me I’ll give you a reward please just found him.” Roy says “everyone ready” Everyone replies “YEAH” they rush in to find him.

“I can’t see anything” said Jason Chad replies “I’ll get some light for us” the tip of Chad’s staff starts to glow which lets everyone be able to see. They run until the tunnels separate into two of them. They spilt up in to group Jason, Shaunna go in the right Roy and Chad take the left. Chad and Roy start hearing noises they start running toward it and it’s a bat dieing and something wrong there is no cause for death. It looked as if the bat was bitten.

Roy and Chad started running the saw a circle of goblins with the boy in the middle and a new spell revealed itself and the page glowed, and Chad he read the page he said “thunder” bolts hit three out of five goblins kills two. Roy runs up punches one while cuts another’s head off. Chad says “fire” the fireballs catch the last goblin on fire he rolls and scream and runs. Roy and Chad just start laughing. Shaunna and Jason hear all the noise and run to where the cave splits wait for a minute and start running down the left tunnel. Chad and Roy heard foot steps so Chad makes his staff glow. Jason and Shaunna sees the light “Chad is that you” she says he replies “yeah” “are you ok” she says replies again “yeah let’s get out of here” they all get out and see. The old man “here is your son” said Roy “thank you thank you so much” the old man replies “here is your reward” Roy said” no keep it, it was a pleasure helping you find your son.” The old man said “your wonderful good hearted people” Roy responded “thank you sir.” The old man replies “no thank you.” Roy and the group start walking as they’re Chad asked Shaunna “so what’s your story I don’t even know you that well and we let you come with us weird.”
