Welcome to the 9th level of hell!
The Blade of honor and horror(incomplete)
[this is a sequel to my harbinger of doom story, unfortunately I'm trying to not make it too long, since it's an English essay, but since it has to be double spaced, I'm gonna have a few problems]

The Blade of Honor and Horror

Legends don’t die. That’s what the people in the desert country of Pharis believe. It’s really all they can hold onto. Scorching heat in the morning and death on the wind at night, it’s a wonder they haven’t gone insane. The only hope they have left is in their leader Klaus. It should be noted that Pharis is a country of thieves and bandits. They hold a strong hatred toward the capitol city of Bruma. At the moment, Arcia is in turmoil. From the streets of Bruma, flames can be seen, and battles can be heard. The castle is under attack.

Klaus’s cries can be heard throughout the castle. “Leave no survivors! Grab whatever's not bolted down!” he commands his bandits. In the midst of the chaos, Klaus and King Alcard duel. “You will never have Bruma!” Alcard declares. Klaus was more focused on Alcard’s sword than his words. In fact, he was worried about its value, not its sharp blade. “You hold all of these riches to yourself, yet you leave Pharis to rot into the sand! A king should care about his kingdom, not his estate!” Klaus angrily shouts. Suddenly, the king drops his sword and cries out, “No! Not the sounds, not again!” Klaus stares at Alcard, who had obviously gone insane in his old age. Using the opportunity, he strikes down the king with a flash of his dagger. Klaus looks at the dropped blade, noticing an odd sight. Was it glowing? “This will definitely be worth a high price.” Klaus thought. He grabbed the blade and raced out of the castle with his thief army. Arcia’s capitol had fallen.

The trek back to Pharis’s capitol was a long one, especially since horses couldn’t run on the loose sand. Klaus was found by his best friend Draco in the caravan's tented wagon. He was admiring the blade he had picked up from Alcard’s corpse. “Klaus, what the hell are you doing back here?” He asked. “Watch your tongue Draco; I’ll have none of that language here. Just because we’re bandits that doesn’t mean we have to be savages. What do you want?” Klaus replied. “I’m just wondering why you’re so obsessed with that sword.” Draco stated. Klaus paused for a moment, then going back to staring at the sword, he answers, “I’m not sure. Something about it just catches my attention. I’m not even sure I want to sell it.” “Not want to sell it! It’s a magic blade you bloody fool!” Draco shouted. Klaus thought he heard a buzzing, but there wasn’t a dayfly in sight. Draco grew impatient. “Klaus, are you paying attention?!” he exclaimed. Draco threw up his hands in rage as he said this, hitting Klaus across the face, which stopped an inch from the sword's tip. “WATCH WHAT YOU’RE DOING YOU IDIOT! You want to impale me on this sword?!” Klaus shouted as he sheathed the blade. “Sorry captain. I’ll be going back to the front now.” Draco apologized. “Blasted idiot. What was that buzzing though? Probably nothing.” Klaus thought as he jumped out of the covered wagon.

Trumpets flared and crowds cheered as their leader had returned with the riches and authority of the Arcian Capitol.
