From an early age, Bryan's home world of Hod had been at war with their bitter rivals of Kimlasca. At first, it began as most wars do with aircraft, guns, and space transport ships. Then, a new science was created to revolutionize the war. M.E.C.H.'s. Machanically Engineered Cyber Humans. Neither side can remember which created the super soldier first, but during the battle of Arc Colony 384, both agreed that the power that each M.E.C.H. had was astounding. Hod was the first planet to ever employ the machines with three human pilots. Unlike the future models, the earliest M.E.C.H.'s were slow and required an insane amount of power to operate, but after wiping out an enitre war fleet, it was silently agreed that the war had taken a new chapter.

347 years later, Bryan Imifos had attended the Hod Planetary Defense Academy in hopes of becoming a high ranking military officer despite his sheltered life in the rural areas where the war was nothing more than passing gossip between house wives. Though lacking in experience, when provided with a practice M.E.C.H. the results showed he had remarkable capability to operate the machine far beyond even the most highly trained soldiers. He was then implimented into a seceret project known only as 'Project Artemis'. Now nineteen years in age after three years of intense physical and mental training, his time is soon to arrive........if only he could find his instructor that was supposed to be training him.
