measure 65 not an open primary, not a top-two primary; it's an "i will ignore your vote" primary. There are reasons to vote for a losing candidate, because it shows importance, determination, and also can funnel federal dollars into your party. Oregon is a blue state, Obama will win, but ralph nader and the green party will get 18 cents if i vote for them. If measure 65 passes, my important contribution will be ignored.
bill seizemore is a lunatic; he uses the spaghetti method for politics. (You throw it against the wall, and see what sticks.) He's tried 113 ballot measures, 13 have made the ballot, 3 have passed, and only 1 was decided constitutional.
