MAJOR HAUL!Today after work, I decided to check out a few places I didn't get a chance to yesterday. I went to Toys R Us and picked up Transformers Cybertron Armorhide and Thundercracker. After that, I went to my local comic book store and was surprised to see that they were selling a ton of Generation 1 Transformers!
The store just recently purchased an entire collection and they had a few pieces on display for sale. I was like a kid in a candy store. Better yet... a Transformer collector in a comic book shop. xd
Luckily, I made a stop at the bank prior to shopping so money wasn't a major issue. At first, I was tempted to by the Trypticon they had for $80, but noticed it was broken so I decided to pass on that. The store owner mentioned that he had more then what he had in the display case and I asked if I could see. He pulled out a few boxes containing several plastic Ziplock bags with individual priced Transformers. After searching both boxes I choose a Soundwave w/ Buzzsaw (for weapons and spare parts), Octane, Outback, Overkill, Slugfest, Beast Box, Squawk Talk, and the Micromasters Combiners Millitary Team; Direct Hit, Fireshot, Half-Track, Meltdown, Power Punch, and Vanquish. All were priced below the guide book prices. Definitly a great deal. Gonna have to return for more next week. wink
