Between a rock and a hard place....
The sun slowly started to spread it’s light over the horizon…. And the full extent of the damage to the car could be seen. The small four door car was on it’s roof, and had a set of punctures in the metal from the creature’s talons from the night before. It had been crushed, none of the windows held their glass, the doors had been morphed to the frame, and the driver’s side of the car had one puncture per door, the hole centered in the doors. Ximly was nowhere to be seen on the driver’s side of the car, though what looked to be her blood was everywhere…. The tip of her tail stuck out from the passenger side of the windshield, and she lay face down, her upper half of her body exposed to the surroundings. She lay half in the car, and half out of the passenger window, the area around her mid-drift bleeding slightly, and a number of deep cuts along her shoulders, arms, and a few spots in the membranes of her wings were ripped. The mere fact that she was bleeding was astounding, as she was still fully scaled, and it just went to show just how horrible the impact had truly been, and it didn’t help that the charms Tana had cast on it were now broken….
A moan echoed slightly in the wreckage, as Ximly attempted to move. She winced as the pain shot through her body, and weakly attempted to check through all of her limbs…. Fingers, all attatched…. Toes… yes… that meant the legs and arms weren’t broken…. Wings? Painful…. But not broken…. Tail? Sore… but still in one piece…. Again Ximly attempted to move, wincing as she felt her skin splitting around her waist. She stopped and paused for a minute, attempting to feel what had managed to pierce her skin. Glass wasn’t strong enough…. But charmed metal…. Ximly snarled slightly, her head was pounding….. her entire body hurt, and she was probably in danger of being cut in half…. Not to mention if that thing, what ever it was, came back.….
s**t! Ximly cussed within her mind, there were too many things going on that week, she couldn’t be stuck in a position like this…..
