It was a story , it was a legend it was REBORN

The land was old and very few remained that remember the time before the invasion, it started with few but grew quicker over time. The wind wisped over the clouds fog rolled in from the mountains. The rising moon shone bright lighting up the land giving everything a slight shimmer the trees were tall and old spread around in giant clumps bats hovered in the air hanging over the towns . A slight roar of the ocean could be heard in this perfect serine silence. Making it almost calm and relaxing for those retiring from there work in the field and shops wooden doors were shut, the people were sending the little ones off to bed and the older ones met up at the local bar or partied with a few friends the harvest was great this year and it gave everyone a reason to be merry. Far off in the distance the howl of winds were colder seemed to be fueled by a different source than the happy calm around the town the clods grew more almost magnificent creatures in the night. A castle surrounded by woods on the right and to the left a little ways of was a small cliff over the ocean this castle was towering over all in its path . It had tree towers and many windows , it was once owned by the greatest man in all the land. In the tower to the farthest right of the castle a man looked out over the town and the lake near by his eyes shone golden over the trees with longing the winds grew quicker with his heart the loneliness clouded over his eyes he never liked it like this alone only people he saw cared about his nobility but he had his reasons for staying hear dark reasons happy reasons , he opened the window and let the air flow in wiping his long black hair behind him his cape danced with the air before it came back to its masters side. The moon hover so big in the sky he could almost grasp it with his powers he opened his moth and let out a howl piercing the quiet night , all his emotions of loneliness anger bitterness fueled it the wind carried it and the whole town shook upon hearing its roar he was awake and hungry they knew today they were lucky his family was away but for how long they didn’t know . Bartenders rushed to get out the drunken guest and wife’s bolted there doors dogs were left outside with the hopes that he would feast on them instead of one of there own. Children were moved down stairs to hidden basements and parents slept with a cross over there bed . Some lucky ones even had crosses that still possessed the power to repel evil worn as necklaces keeping them safe. A little girl awoke with a nightmare and crawled over to her moms bed . “mommy why are trembling” the mother looked down at her big blue eyes and pushed a strand of blonde hair out of her daughters pretty face and smiled at her innocence.
“daddy’s not home yet and I’m just worrying , you know me worry, worry, worry “ she faked a laugh to hide her fear. “its ok mommy daddy left me this saying to give it to you just in case your worried” the little girl said as she grabbed a small pouch and took out a long silver necklace with a cross on it. “where did he get that” the mom asked picking it up and holding it.
“he bought it for your birthday and said if he was gone to late to give it to you for him” .
“thank you Vanessa’ she said and kissed her daughters head putting the necklace over her neck “you were it for tonight ok now back to bed” the little girl walked off and was soon fast asleep . Another howl broke the night stopping the mothers heart because this time it was answered by more howls some seeming to laugh at her fears. She opened the door and looked outside as many others were doing. The night rang out in howls with menacing laughter . The man at the castle window was watching. Soon he would be taking his sons on there first hunt young they were but had inherited the family legacy but he had to make shure to watch them for they had no control over there powers and had not yet awaked completely to there lineage. He walked jumped down and landed in front of the main door the fall from tallest tower didn’t affect him at all he barely noticed landing for his servant was there and ushering out his two kids.
