The Paranormal Book Ch 1
Savannah placed her book on her dresser then slipped on her light orange mini dress . It was October 30 and it was the High School dance. She walked down stairs after putting on her make up and fixing her hair. She saw Trent, her boyfriend, waiting on the couch for her. “Hey,” Savannah said standing in front of him. He gazed in awe as she stood there with her light blonde hair down and curled around her face with the perfect makeup. “You look lovely,” Trent, a black haired boy replied, standing then kissed her flawless cheek. “Thank you and you look stunning yourself,” Savannah smiled. “Are we picking up the others?” Trent asked. “No, we will meet them there,” Savannah answered. “Hurry let’s go before my parents decide to take pictures,” Savannah giggle-whispered. “Pictures,” Savannah mother shouted entering the room. Trent and Savannah groaned. After about 5 dozen photos Trent and Savannah headed for the dance. As soon as they arrived they saw their friends. Riley and Johnnie, Bradley and Julie, Cameron and Drake, and Addison and Brandon. All of the girls were stunning blondes and were wearing the same dress. “OMG, let’s dance,” Savannah pulled Trent to the dance floor. Sharika’s ‘My Hips don’t lie’ was blaring over the speakers. Soon everyone was watching Savannah and Trent dance. After the song stopped they headed to the drink stand. “Uhm this is for you,” a random guy said hanging her a note. “Uhm who is it from,” Savannah asked slightly confused. Sure she had gotten notes from random guys but not any delivered. “Well I’m not sure of his name but he is somewhere over there,” the guy said pointing over to the left. But no one was there. The note said:
Read every night and you might survive

“Read every night and you might survive,” Savannah questioned. Fear started to form in her eyes. “Oh well just forget it. Some one is trying to prank you,” Trent sais taking the note and throwing it away. They rejoined the others and began to talk. “OMG, what do yall want to be tomorrow night at that weird dude’s party,” Savannah asked. “I think we should be kitties and bunnies,” Julie giggled. “OH we can me the dirty devils,” Cameron included. “OMGIZZLE, Cammie I love your idea,” Savannah squealed. “Okay so yall can be the dirty devils and we can be the…,” Trent said straining the the. “Uhm yall can be. The…. No I have an idea we can be the Cinderallas and yall can be the Prince Charmings,” Julie said. “Uhm why not we be stalkers and yall be rock stars,” Bradley suggested. “Nah,” Savannah disapproved his suggestion. “I say we just be like I don‘t know but what do you guys want to be,” Addison asked. “I say we be famous couples,” Brandon suggested. “OMG I LOVE IT,” The girls bounced in unison. “No I think the guys should be rock stars and we be their like fan club,” Riley said. “Yeah I like that,” Savannah approved. “Hey, have yall read you books for the book report due next week,” Riley asked changing the subject. “No,” Addison laughed. “I’m reading this book I think its uhm The Boyfriend list or whatever. But I can’t follow along. It’s like too hard for me,” Julie said. “I read that book. In like 7th grade.” Savannah laughed. “Well Savvy you like smarter then us,” Cameron whined.

At midnight all the kids parted and headed home. Savannah said goodbye to her friends and told them to meet her at the mall the next day at noon. Trent drove her home then he drove home. Savannah headed to her room and plopped down on her bed. She grabbed for her book but it was… gone… missing. She looked under the bed…nothing… she looked in her bed…still nothing…she looked in her closet… still there was no sign of her book…the dresser… still nothing. She decided that she must have just missed placed it and there was nothing to worry about. She felt a breeze. She froze. She heard footsteps. They weren’t her mother‘s or her father‘s footsteps for these slipped almost like a person trying to not to be heard. She took a deep breath and told her self to chill. And not to just freak out. The footsteps stopped and didn’t come back the rest of the night. Savannah slept with her back touching the wall and facing the door.
