Don't Read This...I Warned You
Blind Angel, Cursed Fox
Alright so my journals have now been transformed from my own internal musings to short stories that I come up with based on strong emotions or a request from someone. This entry is a short and tragic romance that I will dedicate to Tenshi Cherry. Very good friend, love her to death, and to any guys who read this and try to hit on her be prepared for some serious hurting from me and many others....

Anyways! The story itself is inspired from the song that plays on Cherry's profile, Comatose by Skillet. I really do love it and I hope that you love the story Cherry. So here we go! whee

Blind Angel, Cursed Fox

If an angel still pure and whole is the epitome of good then what is a fallen angel? Are they really only creatures of pure evil or can good still blossom in a tainted vessel? And if someone cannot change his nature and does something evil can we really fault them and call them so? What is good, what is bad? Where will we draw the lines and take our stand?

Once there was an angel that cursed a fox youkai in punishment for stealing. She would've forgiven him if he had said sorry but he did not ask for forgiveness. "It is in my nature to do these things just as it is in your nature to be good. Can you fault me for being created like this?" Angry that he could not see the obvious proof of his sins she cursed him to forever follow his nature. He would never be able to change even if he wanted to and she left.

The other angels saw the unjust and cruel actions of the angel and as such they tore her wings from her and took from her the beauty and power of an angel while they barred her entrance back into heaven. "Find the ability to love that which is tainted. Without that ability you cannot truly forgive or fulfill your duties." Saddened at the words of her comrades she left and went to look for the abilities that seemed to elude her.

However during her journey the same fox that she cursed stumbled across her path. He saw that she carried nothing with her and would've left but even a cruel fox can take pity on a broken creature. Both cruel and kind, loved and detested, he knew very well what it felt like to be broken without hope of waking from the nightmare of reality.

He cared for her and she never told him who she really was. As time passed the angel was able to finally see the good that she had purposely chose to overlook in the fox..all because he was a demon. She finally knew what she was missing but she did not feel like going back to her old life. Now she knew more than the ability to forgive but she knew what it was to love. The fox youkai loved her in return and things seemed to be going well...but love is not without it's pitfalls.

One cold winter night the angel was visited by an old comrade of hers. Overjoyed she ran to him and hugged him unaware of the jealous eyes that watched the pair. The fox was overcome with feelings of rage and hurt as he learned the true identity of the woman he had cared for all this time and fallen in love with. What hurt more though was the fact that she was in another person's arms! Despite the feeling of betrayal and rage the fox knew he could not hate her since he seemed to be a different person while with her.

However the curse she had placed in him was strong and that night when she returned to their home it happened. The curse caused him to act to his old nature and with the jealous rage of a fox scorned he stole something he had never wanted to steal.

Her life.

And as she died the angel could only smile. She had been blind at their first meeting and now she would pay. Reaching out a blood stained hand she drew a line from the middle of his forehead to his chin.

Good and evil which do you choose? Where is the line drawn?

With this question spinning in her head the angel died and with her death the fox demon was released from his curse. Now he was free to weep, now he was free to become that which he was meant to be. Free yet chained. The curse was broken only to be replaced with a curse much more potent.

What is the price of change? Are we ever willing to face that future and know what will be left behind?

The story set in motion but never meant to be re-told. A tragedy that was meant to change the world, but remained hidden.

Good or evil? Redemption or Curse?

An angel that fell from heaven...
The fox she cursed...
A fated meeting...
The forbidden fruit that bloomed...
And the tragedy of redemption...
