Ok, I have to start out with what I just cooked. Its rather simple, but amazingly delicious. I cooked up some egg wavy noodles( ya know, the really cheap asian kind), melted some margarine on them, and covered them in Parmesan cheese(just the powdery Kraft kind). Then I cooked up some really tiny pieces of chicken in olive oil, garlic powder, a very tiny amount of Italian seasoning, and a dash of salt and pepper. After it was done cooking I just cut it up and mixed it in with the pasta. And ta~da~!!! Instant starving college student feast! <3

Anywho, back to my day. I had to wake up at 6 in the morning again for work, and got off at 4. It wasn't a bad day. Only a couple people got pissy cause I told them off. And I think Jan is finally starting to relax. He actually sat next to me for 15 minutes doing NOTHING... :le gasp: He was so up tight at first, but now I think he's starting to get the hang of things, which will make life easier for me in the long run <3

I texted my mom the whole breakfast shift. She was actually really nice, which kinda surprised me, but was much appreciated. She's usually kinda insensitive to my emotions and prefers chewing me out about something and making me feel worse than listening to what I have to say and trying to help. But today she cheered me up in a jiffy. I was thinking about my freshman year of college and started to get all teary eyed. My mom gave me an analogy that summed up exactly what I was thinking, and made me laugh pretty hard to boot:

"Don't fall for the grass is always greener on the other side. Cause sometimes its just green cause there is lots of manure on it and you don't smell it till you get to that side. lol " *I cleaned up the leet speak. My mum still can't text well XD

I think things are going much better! Can't wait for another happy day!
