Okay, so recently I've been working on my costume. It's going to (hopefully) be debuting at Ohayocon (January 30 - February 1). So, I'm just trying to get a head start and get everything done so I don't have to cram it all in at the last minute. Yesterday I was working on my gloves. He wears black fingerless leather gloves, and at the end of each finger is a metal ring. Not only have I had one hell of a time trying to figure out what to use, but my one idea didn't work so well. I looked for real metal rings, but I'm not up to spending over $100 for my fingers. So, Breeface (another Walter cosplayer) told me to use the inside of a coca cola can ( or any other soda...I'm using Sierra Mist xD). So I had all the pieces I needed, I cut the fingers off of the gloves I bought, and I started to attach them. Neither of the things I used worked very well. I tried using crazy glue, and I'm lucky I don't permanently have to wear those gloves. Then I tried using hot glue...yeah that didn't work well at all. So now, today I'm going to try for double sided tape! Hopefully everything will work out well today!
