I thought of a name for our little fox friend. His name is Yasu (安), translated to "Peaceful" in english. He never showed any sign of struggle during the medical treatment and even afterward he slept so peacefully through the night as I watched over him and Shunomaru. He gave off a bit of a vibe that he enjoyed the calm rather the chaos of the world. I would have to agree with him completely in that respect. This world is nothing but greed and constant violence and it disgusts me to think of what this world has become.

While finishing up the final bits of wreckage I noticed the smell of a rotting corpse. By the time I found where the smell had been coming from Shunomaru had already discovered the body of a female fox.... more than likely it was our little friend's mother. She must have either been killed before he got lost or died searching for him. I doubt that our little friend is ready to be on his own yet. He doesn't seem quite old enough to be on his own quite yet. I guess he will just have to stay with us then. Of coarse I don't mind having another friend around. I might actually be able to train him once he's healed so it'll give us more of an advantage in a fight. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.... I wonder if Shunomaru and I should tell him about his mother..... no it's better to wait till he matures a bit and comes to us to ask.
Date: October 2nd
Yasu seems to be healing faster than expected... either that or he is just daring. He came out of the tent today and managed to find me at the edge of the camp without being spotted. Unfortunately Shunomaru ruined his streak and sniffed him out soon after he found us. Shunomaru managed to sneak back to the tent with him undetected. That was the last I saw them all day. Shunomaru must have been making sure Yasu stayed out of trouble. The rest of the day went by pretty fast as the majority of the workers were taking a break for a couple days.
Date: October 3rd and 4th
Tizona, Zirith, Zerostsu and myself were working with the contractors to plan out the layout of the village overall. Then we worked on the blueprints for each individual building, starting with the smaller buildings first and working our way up. Yasu was recovering fast and Shunomaru acted as his guide around the camp as they enjoyed each others company while I was busy working.

Well what do you know. Tizona had discovered another little fox that looked exactly like Yasu (minus the bandages). Zirith soon came by with another one. Could they possibly be his brothers? I explained the story of our secret friend as I recalled it and they didn't seem shocked that I rushed to help the little guy out. I show my love for animals all the time and my distaste for humans as well. Tizona and Zirith both laughed and brought the other foxes to my tent. When Yasu saw them he jumped up, forgetting his leg was still healing, and greeted the two new foxes with excitement. They did the same for Yasu and then greeted Shunomaru soon after. Just as I thought, they were brothers. As expected the one Tizona found seemed to follow him wherever he went the rest of the day. He seemed to enjoy the sunlight throughout the day. I decided to name him Haruki (陽輝), which means "Sun's radiance," Tizona agreed that the name suited him quite well. The other fox naturally became attached to Zirith, who had no idea what to name him. As the day went on I noticed that the young fox seemed to be bossed around a little by Haruki and Yasu. Assuming he was the youngest because of both this and the fact that the others were slightly bigger than him, I decided to name him Saburou (三郎 ), meaning "Third son" when translated. Zirith figured that the meaning of the name was at least true and decided to keep the name. The day past and everyone seemed to notice our new friends following us or in my own case, carrying him in my arms so he wouldn't push his leg too far before it finished healing.
With Shunomaru in my hood and Yasu in my arms, we all went back to the tent for the night and found Haruki and Saburou sleeping together by the bed i had made out of my spare jacket for Yasu and a note inside the bed itself. It was from Tizona and Zirith. It said that although Haruki and Saburou were a bit attached to them that the young foxes were more comfortable when around one another. It also said that I should be the one to watch over them due to my animal instinct and my passion for animals overall. I figured that the foxes would want to sleep near each other and the fact that I was already caring for Yasu will make it easier for me to learn their habits and stay one step ahead of them at all times.
I placed Yasu carefully in the bed and took off my jacket as i got ready for bed myself. Shunomaru slept on my stomach which was slightly uncomfortable. It's not like I'll be able to sleep tonight anyways. At least not more than a couple hours.
Even I don't understand how I managed to write with Shunomaru on my stomach. I must have a steadier hand than I thought. Any....*yaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwnn*.... ahem sorry. Anyways goodnight for now. *hehe* The foxes look so cute in their sleep. Saburou seems to shift positions quite often.... he must not be able to find a position he is comfortable in. Oh well g'night.
