I'm in band... yeah. Since marching band is over, I'm no longer in colorguard. And since I'm no longer in colorguard I've went back to being a percussionist. I love percussion, but I just don't believe I'm all that good... I have timing issues and such. Chair auditions are coming up... (-cough- in two days) and I'm extremely nervous. To top it all off Mr. Miller put me on the top base for the parade coming up! I've never marched in my life (colorguard), so I haven't learned how to play base drum for marching. It's tough... I really sucked today and to top it all off I actually cried. In class into of the drumline. Gosh did I feel like a loser... whenever I get mad I start to cry and I was so upset with myself that I actually cried, grrr.... Hopefully I'll pass the chiar test, if I don't then I guess I won't have to worry about trying to play that darn base drum... I really hate the thing... and what makes the whole situtation really sad is that a few weeks ago I said I thought it'd be fun to play it... how wrong was I? Anyway I'll post Thursday evening to tell you whether or not I passed... -sigh- 'til then...
