Killer Love
Everything from the floor to the ceiling was covered in a thick crimson liquid. Reina sat in a corner in complete horror. She cried as she watched her sister, Rukia, being beaten by a dark figure with a bat that was now covered in blood. Reina could no longer take it any more, she ran up to her sister’s bloody corpse, “Leave my sister alone!” Reina cried out. Reina hugged her sister’s corpse, her tears coming down her pale face. “Move!” the person demanded, his voice sounded young maybe around her sister’s age, which was four-teen, could they be the same age? The boy grabbed Reina’s arm forcing her to look at his face “If you tell anyone who I am, I will kill you!” the boy threatened, and let go of her arm, letting Reina fall to the floor. Said girl was in shock seeing the all too familiar face. “Sui…”-Ring! Ring! Reina woke from her dream hearing her phone go of to the tone of Kremlin Dusk by Utada Hikaru. Reina quickly answered her cell, “Hello? Who is this?” “It’s Kagome silly don’t you have caller I.D?” Reina’s friend since long before Rukia’s death, asked. There was a moment of silence, “Yea? I don’t know.”Reina replied to her friend’s question. “Well then, get ready for school!”Kagome yelled the last part startling Reina. “Okay, okay! I will Kag!” Reina used Kagome’s nick name. Reina got ready for school quickly.
Reina was running for her life, not that her life was on the really on the line, but if she was late for school she would be on the line. The warning bell had just rang and Reina only had 5 minutes to get to school and she was ten minutes away even if she did run, but still her running continued. She was only four minutes away from school bell rang to let students in. It only took 2 more minutes till the late bell would ring and she would be super late. As she walked up the stairs to the school, the bell rang, Reina no longer cared because she had just remembered something, that a detective was coming to her school trying to solve her sister’s murder. As she walked in the P.A system went on “Would Miss Hiwatari Reina of class1-A. Please report to the main office.” Reina twirled quickly on her heal towered the main office “I wonder what this guy has to say? I bet twenty-five bucks that is going to be the same exact things as the other detectives.” Reina thought to herself.
Reina walked into the main office, she quickly saw the man was tall, had brownish black hair with his police badge clearly showing. “Hello Miss Hiwatari, I am Detective Meyers, may I ask you a couple of quick questions?” he asked seeming to be caring, but his look was all like I’m-going-to-ask-you-a-whole-bunch-of-questions-put-uor-life-in-danger-find-the-guy-put-him-in-jail-and-take-all-the-credit-so-ha! Kind of look. ‘Strike one, and no!’ Reina thought “Sure!” said girl said too happily. “Okay follow me.” The man said giving Reina a strange look. “How many questions are you going to ask me?” she asked “Only a couple.” He said as he sat down is the conference room. ‘You already said that dimwit! Oh and that’s strike two one more and your out!’
Afterward which was like the whole school day, not including lunch, she had to go out then, he was asking question after question. Reina quickly walked out of the building she had to leave. “Miss Hiwatari are you sure that’s all you know about the killer?” Meyers yelled from the front of the school ‘Strike three you’re out!’ Reina gave a sinister smile and turned around giving a bigger smile “I’m one hundred percent sure! Hope you stay safe!” with that said Reina ran to the front of the school gates. “What does that mean?” Meyers asked himself, but quickly returned to the inside of the front office to get his things. Reina breathed in and out quickly. Boy did she hate detectives. Reina quickly slid to the floor and pulled out her phone and began to text, “Hay Suigetsu are you out of work yet? Can you please pick me up I’m at school, so be careful. –Rena Ryugu” Reina sent it using her pin name Rena Ryuga, a famous anime killer in Japan from the show ‘When the Cascades Cry’ of commonly know as ‘Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni’, and began to work on her English homework. After two or three minutes she stopped and looked up to see Suigetsu standing there “Come on I heard there’s was a tsunami in China I want to see the death toll, Oh and they say its going to rain hard today in Tokyo so we better get going.” Reina got up and started to walk with Suigetsu. “Hay another detective came by and he struck-out three times. What you want to do?” Reina asked smiling at him. Suigetsu stopped as well as Reina, his head was down and his raven black hair covered most of his face, but Reina saw it, he gave a quick smirk. “I haven’t seen how strong you were, so-” Suigetsu handed Reina a bat, and to took it, “prove to me you are strong. Pull a Ryugu on that detective, Reina!” He said and continued to walk. Reina began to walk as well beside him, for a moment it was complete silence “Suigetsu?” Reina finally spoke. “Huh?” was all his replied, “Do you know why my father and mother left me alone on this world once Rakia died?” Reina asked, her crimson red hair covered her eyes. “I really don’t know why your parents committed suicide after Rukia’s death; I had nothing to do with it.”Suigetsu said in return, “I never meant to accuse you it’s just after that well I just got disconnected to the world and you were the only one who was there for me.” Reina gave him a caring smile “They didn’t care what happened to you, only what happened to your sister.”Suigetsu said “Huh?” Reina was a little confused “Well here’s yours house I’ll see you tomorrow.” With that said Suigetsu left leaving a confused Reina their with his bat.
“Last night Meyers Takuto Claude at the age of twenty-six was-” Reina turned of the T.V “Was brutally murdered in his apartment after investigating the murder of Hiwatari Rukia! Well! Well, you’re not going to find me ha! I cleaned everything in that room burned my clothes, which were really nice ones to let you know, and cleaned the bat perfectly!” Reina sang around the room as she danced to CICADZ Criez remixed by DJ ZAI /AKU/. She quickly got dressed “Well now we only have one more person to get rid of now done we Rena-Chan?!” Reina asked questioning herself yet who was not part of her actual person, an alternative personality so to speak.
Reina walked out in the rain, her coat taking the beating of the rain for her. She was dressed in a blackish color jean and a back dress-shirt with a crimson red vest like thing over it, her coat was also black she had a black bag with red clouds on in with a bat and other stuff inside. She quickly opened the gate to the Kagome Niwa’s home and entered the house. “Hello Kagome?!” Reina yelled as she walked in “Here Reina!” Kagome quickly ran down stairs “Oh hey what up with you?” Kagome asked “I needed to tell you something.” The two sat down in Kagome’s room which was upstairs. Kagome close the door behind her and looked at Reina sitting near the window, watching the rain come down outside. “So what did you need to tell me?” Reina put her head down “I remember the killer’s face.” “Huh?! What are you serous? Great! Now we can tell the police, right?!” Kagome sounded happy, “That’s not all we know the guy.” Reina began to smile wickedly. “What!? Really?! Tell me so I can kill him, man after all the pain he caused you, he deserves to die!!” Kagome yelled. “You too, and you won’t kill him.” Reina’s smile grew her red hair still hiding it. “Huh?” but before Kagome could realize what was happening, Reina got her bat and bashed Kagome’s head in. “HE NEVER HURT ME!” Reina yelled still hitting Kagome’s corpse. It was like her sister’s murder except this time no witnesses, the blinds where closed, Kagome’s parents were abroad and she was an only child. Reina continued to beat Kagome “YOU CAN’T TELL ANY ONE CAUSE YOU’LL BE DEAD!” Reina yelled in between swings but stopped ones she heard her phone ring. “Hello?” Reina asked the person on the other line “Hey Reina are you done talking with Kagome?” the person asked “Ah, Suigetsu! Ya I’m just about done.” Reina said cheerfully “Ok, Hurry up.” Suigetsu said. Reina closed her phone, and she bent down and grabbed Kagome’s blond hair now stained by blood Kagome’s brownish eyes where wide open “Poor, poor, Kagome. Had to die so sudden, oh by the way that was Suigetsu, Rukia’s killer, you know the guy you saw me going out with. You two should meet. Oh that’s right Rena-Chan already introduced you, huh?” Reina gave an evil chuckle. She got up and quickly cleaned the room and disposed of the body, maybe it went buy so fast cause Rena-Chan was doing it all for her.
Reina walked up to her apartment and opened the door. “Hello?” she asked the silence “Hay Reina what’s up?” Suigetsu came out of the kitchen “I forgot your bat sorry.” Reina said smiling so innocently. Suigetsu looked at her and raise a brow “Did not.” Reina’s face showed defeat. “Fine I didn’t forget it but only cause Rena-Chan reminded me.” Reina said pouting; she got the bat and threw it on the floor “Planning on killing me?” Suigetsu asked sarcastically “Never.” Rena said. Suigetsu pulled her into a hug then kissed her passionately on the lips.
Reina ran out of the graduation ceremony into Suigetsu’s arms, he picked her up high into the air. “Hey put me down!” Reina pouted, but still continued to laugh. “No you’re too cute, and you’re super light!” he said smiling. “Are you sure you’re not on a new unhealthy diet?” he still held her up, “I am not on a diet you know I ate like a pig!”Reina was getting angry now, so Suigetsu brought her down but she was still in a hug, “That’s why we only eat at buffets when I’m buying, my cute piggy.”Suigetsu said happily, Reina blushed a crimson red and buried her face is Suigetsu’s shirt. ‘Rena-Chan you cant have Suigetsu.’
Kagome’s body was never found, Rena-Chan is good at hidings thing and used Clorox on every thing. Claude Meyers murder was never found, once again too much Clorox Rena-Chan, Reina has to pay for all those bottles. Rukia Hiwatari’s murder was never solved, and no one not even Reina knows why Suigetsu killed Rukia.
