Well the last few days have been hectic. Sam's Club had it's grand opening the 7th. I'm a cart attendant there and it was my second day doing it, the day before was a half day for business members only. Which wasn't to bad, however the next day the entire parking lot was full by the time I got to work.
There was a crowd outside the store of over a hundred people and they just kept coming in. Well we ran out of shopping carts in fifteen minutes. So most of the day I was seriously running around to find a single cart to give to someone. People were waiting in lines for carts and some were rather vicious about it!
To make things worse it started raining, and I got drenced from head to toe. Despite all that the job at it's high point is still more enjoyable then the state forest ever was.
Well the next couple of days wasn't bad, but saturday was just as busy if not more so then the grand opening. I got to work at 2PM and all the carts were gone. We managed to catch up and get the front half of the cart corale full by 8PM and it took me until 10PM to get the whole lot clean so I could go home.
I got yesterday off and work nights from 4 to 9 all this week except friday. I'm not sure about the upcoming weekend yet though. It's cold yet again today, about 60 something now and is all wet and dark outside. Though I'd probally prefer this weather over the 90 something we got on the half business day.
Anyways other then work everythings going great. Julia is out doing some club work or something and I'm just sitting on Gaia until 3:30 which is when I'll head into work. It only takes me like ten to fifteen minutes to drive there, but I like being early incase we're behind on carts. Oh last thursday I got paid and so I finally ordered an OMG from the store. I've wanted to buy one for over a year, even before they became available on the site. Here's hoping I get that in the mail soon.
