Have you ever wondered why humans fear the night? No, you probably haven't. But if you have you probably just pushed it off as some silly human superstition. I tell you now, That was never the case.
800 years ago an entity entered our world. This being was all knowing, all seeing, and all powerful.
His name... was Drake.
His time in our world was bathed in the blood of your race, humans. As well as the higher races, the elves, dark elves, etc. etc. Until he... vanished.
Only one thing is truly known about his disappearance. He is the father of our race. He was... is the first vampire.
Before his death, he left scores of mortal progeny, that humans named Vampires, to walk the earth in his stead. these vampires grew and evolved over the years, untill they became perfect.
They became stronger, faster... beautiful. We, vampires, are the worlds perfect predator.
