Randomness
I'm random so my journal will be random. That's all there is to it.
Poetry
So I was stabbed in the back awhile ago by a few friends and I wrote these to help cope with it. The fist one is more about the pain and the second one is about finally accepting and being able to move on with life. Let me know what you think of them.

Shattering World

I used to sing soft lullabies,
Falling asleep to the whispers of stars,
Tasting the sweetness of the gentle breeze,
Crisp cool fingers teased my face.

I filled my world with bliss,
And with you shared it all.
But, within the moment I turned away
You took the hammer,
Struck the mighty blow.

My perfect world fell as glass shards at your feet.
Now the whispered lullabies have stopped.
The stars lye fallen to the earth,
But for the tears that cloud my sight,
The last gentle light before the end is lost to me.
The stagnant air refuses to release me.

All of this because fear consumed you,
Forced you to look away from me.
My heart bleeds tears from this festering wound,
This pain which upon you place.

In ignorant bliss
I gave to you trust.
I see now my mistake,
But you have already made me pay the price.

Walking On

I can’t be angry with you,
Nor can I hate you.
There is only sorrow in that I trusted you,
Trust which you betrayed.

Disappointment that you couldn’t face me,
Too scared of my reaction.
But don’t concern yourselves with the Outcast.

I may have fallen,
Yet I will not be defeated.
I’ll brush myself off and keep on going,
Placing you far behind.

So I leave you now to walk a path all my own.
My parting gift,
The memory I will forget,
The memory of the pain you caused.

Not too sure if I like the ending of the second one but oh well. If I think of anything better I'll change it.
