That and your ring level has a lot to do with it.
I am sure there is a formula with a ring or level ratio that is best in certain areas.
Of course the challenge is to do this with out sacrificing too much.
Also groups share drops so being a low ring level healing character in a group that is decently managing the monsters is a plus.
