ASK YOURSELF in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple "I must," then build your life in accordance with this necessity..." - Rainer Maria Rilke
Thought I should post
I'm going to try and summarize (what I can remember) about these past few days.

Monday:
Err...

Tuesday:
Had to work in groups for Euro. I was with Chris, Andrea, and two other kids I don't know. Chris chattered THE ENTIRE TIME about hockey and sleep and breakfast and hockey hockey hockey did you know he has to go to a lot of hockey?

e_E

Just another boring Euro class.

No Walker for Algebra, so I did a few problems and then procrastinated.

Got teased by Amber in Spanish, what with the hair pullings and the whispers. W/e. Aren't we too old for this? She's just trying to get a rise out of me, and I've kept myself in check pretty well.

Web Team = photoshop-ing.

And other stuff.

Wednesday:
Bio was boring. Just a test I probably just barely passed. *sigh* I really should look into this "studying" thing.

Lunch talking awkwardly to people I didn't know and gathering boletas. But it was okay.

Web Team.

English. Galle wasn't there, so I spent the hour doodling and writing down Killers lyrics.

Then PE. Ahhh. I just love that class. I think is some aspects it's even better than Web Team. You don't have to think. You just run, and react.

Except that lovely period was slaughtered by Amber. evil She stayed in the goal for about ten minutes, then said, "I don't want to do it. You do it." And just walks out to play offense.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR OH MY GOSH YOU HO! scream

And I hate goalie, because people are slapping hard plastic balls into me and I have no padding AT ALL and I basically just have to kick it, flick it out with the stick, or try and dive in front of it. None of which Amber ever tried to do. But I went in anyway, because no one else would have done it AND AT LEAST I CARE MORE ABOUT THE TEAM THAN MYSELF.

So we lost. evil

I don't think it was my fault. I tried really hard, and I stopped three quarters of the shots, even with this jock and Holmes and Malcolm constantly shooting on me (but Matt H. helped a lot, so it doesn't really count). And he even said, "Meghan, you're the best goalie ever," after another save, but even though it brought out a "O-O" reaction in me, I still couldn't revel in the freaky nice-ness.

Because we lost.

WE ******** LOST AND I HATE LOSING AT A SPORT I'M SEMI GOOD AT BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO STOP ALL THE SHOTS AND WIN.

I don't feel so bad now, but right at the moment you lose, it's just the worst thing in the world..
