"And what is it that this 'Council' accomplishes?" Dante demanded. "What is it that Jareth was so angry about?" "Jareth is against anyone--or anything--controlling the supernatural." "You mean... was against it?" Dante asked. "Well, I guess you gould say that." Zephiel smiled mysteriously. "There is much more at work than you can comprehend, Dante. Have no worries, it will all be clear soon enough." Zephiel stood silently and headed for the door. With his hand on the knob, he said "Get some sleep. In the morning I will blood you and everything will start to open up to you." Dante smiled a little. "Sure thing." he said nonchalantly. With Zephiel gone, Dante had his time to survey his new bedroom. It was painted black, but a large portion of the wall to his left seemed to be scratched; about a square foot was ripped bare down to the dark wood. His father had hung deep velvet blinds over the windows, and hammered a few large planks where the light would otherwise seep through. "He must have had a few rough nights..." Dante said to himself in a cocky tone.
