Lost ACT 1
The sky was hidden,
Lost to the endless cloud.
Tears fell from the Heavens,
And dreams were abandoned,
As all hope faded.
Nigh is the end.
Lost ACT 2
Man fought Man, regardless.
Even family binds were forgotten.
Futile arguments would turn
A person against another.
Friends fought friends,
And siblings turned their backs
On their shared blood ties.
Lost ACT 3
Bodies were burned,
The smoke went to the sky,
Like a silent prayer to the Heavens
Asking for a sign
To the end of the turmoil.
Lost ACT 4
Caught in a lingering night,
Yet no one dared to rest.
And when the morn does come,
We see the full extent of our damage.
Lost ACT 5
And thus, we are all bound
By the solomn promise
Of a better tomorrow....
