Well, I'm still out here in La Crosse and now my car is acting funny. When I turn my car on (engine running), and I go to turn my radio up for music, it turns itself off. Then, when I keep it on and I want to change stations, it beeps at me and saves the station I'm on onto the buttons I pressed.
When I turn my car off (engine off), the radio stays on like it should and the radio works fine. Then, when I open my door, the radio turns off (like it should), but every 30 seconds, the display flashes the time for 5 seconds and then turns off. My car has a life of it's own... gonk
So, I'm down to only two days left at Radio 1. I've sent out three demo air shifts, resume's and cover letters to 107.1 WFON, 99.5 WPKR, and 97.7 WFDL. On Monday, I plan on sending some out to 7 more stations, including some in Madison and Beaver Dam. I'm crossing my fingers, hoping to get a production/news job at a radio station.
