Tonight was the first of the two performances of FBC Springfield's Christmas Cantata, "Adoration: In Search of a King" and I think it went quite well. As well as it could have for the level of experience everyone was at and the number of rehearsals held (I do wish there had been more of them). And altogether, I've had fun. There's something slightly exhilarating about making a dash outside around half the building barefoot because someone needs to get up to the balcony and tell the tech people that the power point with the words to the songs isn't working. Almost like I saved the day. Just a little. Just enough for my own personal enjoyment. It was good times.
And we do it all over again tomorrow night.
