I see shadows dancing with not a care
I strangely want to join them, but I wouldn't dare
I watch the moon slip past the clouds
I wait for you to pull me from the shrouds
I dwell in thought with no escaping
The cloths of lies, my head under draping
I can not see, I shall not hear
I run this mile, heart filled with fear
In time these wounds will show no stain
In receiving them so there was nothing to gain
I lie in this crevice, a hole in the ground
I sit and whimper, yet utter no sound
To wish for death would make it so easy
Yet if I do I'll be nothing but sleazy
I can't just run from what I want the most
Nothing's stopped me before, why should this ghost
But this is different, I can't quite explain
Even in dilema I've no right to complain
Others have it worse, although I'm last place
I still wish to continue at my own pace
It's not your stare, your glare or your pout
It's the way that you make me want to shout
These secret words of which you know
The fear of your response being just "so"
I can not say, I will not speak
For the words I'd mutter are what I seek
I need some guidance in my life
But you're already stated as his future wife
In just not too long it will occur
I wish you happiness as I refer
To what I've said before in this rhyme
I'll say it again if you've got the time
You know these words I'm trying to say
I just hope you realize I mean them one day
I'm short on thought, your the last that I can think
I hope you won't think less of me when my boat's about to sink
I'll have caused it myself to hide the tears
I've been before hurt by words, now this times with shears
If you question this poem to you that I have written
Don't come any closer for you might get bitten
By the truth I hold of which you were told letter for letter
After all why settle for me when you can do better?
I'm truly sorry if I've made you tear or cry
"I love you" Is what I'll tell you under the vast blue sky

I have yet to give it a title.. (not part of the poem)
