When Kyo walked in the house Takashi ran over to her and stood on his toes trying to see what she was holding."Hey,mother whats that?"He tilted his head at her some.Kyo smiled down at him"Its a cat I found outside.It may be hurt,i'm not quite sure yet"She looked down at the cat and smiled"Takashi I need you to bring a dry towel and a phonebook up to my room"Kyo started to walk up the stairs"No problem"Takashi nodded his head as Kyo walked up the stairs.He ran into the living room and looked for a phonebook.Kyo walked in her room still holding the cat in her arms,she looked through her clothes and found an old shirt she didn't wear anymore.She wrapped the cat in it and put him down on her bed."Mew"The cat looked up at her with its head slightly tilted.Kyo smiled down at the cat and went over to her desk and sat down in the chair."I wonder who belong to"She sighed as she leaned back alittle in the chair.The cat jumped off her bed and walked over toKyo,jumping in her lap and curling up in it.Kyo looked down at the cat and petted him on the head.Takashi came in her room with a towel and walked over to her"I couldn't find the phonebook"He handed her the towel"Its alright,guess we'll just have to do it the old way then"Kyo wrapped the cat in the towel as she petted him."Do what the old way?"Takashi sat down on her floor near her legs"I was gonna take him to the vet and see if we could track down his owners,but it seems like we have to put up posters instead"Takashi blinked at Kyo"We..?"Kyo grabbed his ear and gently pulled on it"Yes,we"She smiled down at him and let go of his ear.Takashi rubbed his ear when Kyo let go of it"Mother,can I pet him?"Kyo patted him on the head and sat the cat down on the floor"Sure,but be careful he's still alittle scared.Which reminds me"She stood up and walked into her bathroom,looking for the first aid kit."Aha,found ya"Kyo grabbed the first aid kit and went back in the room with Takashi and sat down on the floor.She grabbed a wet rag and wiped off the hand that the cat had bit"What happened to you?"Takashi looked at her hand then back up to her"Oh nothing,I just made a mistake and cut my hand on some glass while I was outside"Takashi petted the cat"Oh,well you should be more careful"Kyo smiled at him"Sure thing man of the house"She didn't tell Takashi that the cat had actually bit her because she didn't want him to be scared considering before he didn't really like cats.
