Due to economic strain, which has led to a decrease in the amount of funding given to the association, I will not be given more hours or a higher payrate as was planned. Now, this wouldn't freak me out much at all were it not for the fact that I'm about to start paying for a vehicle. Yargh. Had I known that all this was coming, I probably wouldn't have quit Walmart.
And yet I knew that leaving Walmart - at least for the time - was the right thing to do. But do I go back? I know I'll look like a huge jerk if, having quit right before the holidays, I go and ask for my job back immediately AFTER the holidays...
This will require lots of prayer.
On a lighter note, I test-drove this vehicle that will (hopefully) soon be mine, and I liked it very much. I can't wait to give my mother that stupid van back. =D
