Take it back one rhyme
Back to elementary school
When I thought things were fine
It was grade three
About 8 years old
That kid was me
And the day was cold
I played some ball in the yard way back
When a few tall kids tried to give me a smack
Now I got scarred
Cause I got hit hard
One to the stomach
Another to the face
Little did I know it was against my race
They hated us Asians but picked on just me
Cause the others could fight
So little did I see
Hey kid, I know the pain you feel
It seems so fake but it feels so real
So take my hand and we'll take a ride
Where all the scars are gone in side
Out to the sunset where the pain all ends
So we'll see all of our friends
Fast forward to these past few weeks
Where things got weird
But my friends aren't freaks
Still I think my girl's been sneaking around
With another dude in her town
Since I know I'm too far away
There's just so little that I could say
I'll stare outside on this rainy day
Nobody could take my pain away
Hey kid, I know the pain you feel
It seems so fake but it feels so real

I'll admit, there are a few girls in my life
But I love them like sisters but one like a wife
She means to me a love like no other
That kind of love I learned from my mother
She never needed me to tell her I love her
She always knew that I was there
Now I think she's with another hoping I don't care
