One warm afternoon at Lake House Middle School,Sally Sim stopped by the Band Room to sign up for the Spring Party next week.
her friend Martha Patterson had signed up for the party before her.
Mrs. Lundy the Party Helper was sitting on a grey folded chair near a table with a yellow sign saying "Spring Sign-up" writen in blue ink.
Sally bent over the table and grabbed a gold pen and a Sign-up sheet.
She filled out the sheet and gave it to Mrs.Lundy.Mrs. Lundy smiled smile and said "Thank you deary".
Sally looked into Mrs. Lundy's blue eyes and smiled back smile .
She held her backpack tightly surprised .Mrs. Lundy asked "Are u ok deary?" confused .
Sally looked up once more and said "My father lost his job yesterday!" sad .
She bursted into tears while Mrs. Lundy helped her to her classroom crying .
Sally opened the door and the class went quiet.
Mrs. Sails looked up and said "Yes?" neutral .Mrs. Lundy said "Your student had signed-up for the Spring party and cryed" neutral .Jack Benson laughed when he walked to the sink for a sip of water blaugh .
1 week later,Everyone went outside.There stood a stage for party and a refeshment table.
Music started playing and Sally,Henry,Martha and Susan stood on the stage.
Sally held a mircophone and sang "Spring is Here!".
Henry played the drums,and Martha & Susan used the gutiars.
Everyone but the teachers and principal were having a good time 4laugh .(Sally had been going to Lake House Middle since 6th grade.)
